Rebirth Of The Namikaze

Chapter 3

Recap:
"Well done guys. You all pass. We will start training tomorrow at 5 in the morning then have our first mission at 1 o'clock in the afternoon." Kakashi said with an eye-smile. The genin shared the happiness, they couldn't wait to start their first missions.

Several Months Later-
Team 7, the strongest genin team in Konoha. Had just finished another C-Rank mission. It was eliminating a badit camp which was on the borders of Hi no Kuni. During these past months, Naruto's attire had changed. He now wore black anbu style pants with black bandages covering any skin. He also wore black open-toed ninja sandals. On top he wore a black long sleeved muscle shirt with the Uzumaki clan symbol on the back. His hair had grown as long as Minato's and he kept it the same length Minato's was. He had also progressed in his training, learning Mokuton in no time.

Kakashi knocked on the doors of the Hokage, hearing a 'Come in!' from the professor. The Jōnin sensei of Team 7 walked in with his squad. "Team 7 reporting for another C-Rank." Kakashi stated as Hiruzen nodded. "This is a bodyguard mission. You will be escorting a bridge builder to Nami no Kuni. Bring in Tazuna!" The old Sandaime ordered to the ANBU as they complied, a few seconds later, a drunkard walked in.

He was a grey-haired bespectacled man with a large beard and dark eyes. He wore a sleeveless V-neck shirt with an obi, pants and a pair of sandals. He also carried a towel around his neck and a pointed straw hat on his head. He looked at the team assigned to him and scoffed. "With all due respect, Hokage-sama. But I asked for elite shinobi not shrimps playing ninja." The man spoke.

"You may not believe it, Tazuna-san. But the team assigned is the best genin team we have, as well as the fact you have our strongest Jōnin protecting you. I think you'll be fine." Sarutobi said as Tazuna grumbled. "This team comes back with 100% success rate each time they're sent on missions Tazuna-san. I have the records for proof. They've even been on B and A-rank missions on multiple occasions. It'll be more than enough for this mission." The Hokage stated as the bridge builder nodded.

"We accept the mission Hokage-sama. Team. Pack your stuff, and meet at the gate in 1 hour." Kakashi ordered as the squad nodded.

1 Hour Later-
Team 7 were waiting for Kakashi and the bridge builder at the gates, it was then that Sakura noticed Naruto had no bags. "Naruto. Where's your stuff?" She asked him, trying to undermine him again as he pulled out three scrolls. "Food. Clothing. My toothbrush and toothpaste." Naruto said showing them the scrolls.

"Oh. You've sealed your stuff. If that's the case. Then seal my stuff too." She said holding out her bag. The blond looked at her then looked in the distance. "I'd rather not." He said as Sasuke smirked. "You'd better listen to me! My mom has a seat on the council!" She exclaimed, though was angered to see he wasn't listening. "Huh? Did you say something?" Asked the blond with a raised brow. Sasuke's smirk turned into a full-blown grin.

"I will get you banished from Konoha!" Sakura exclaimed looking at him. "Yeah, go ahead, banish the Uzumaki clan heir from Konoha, Banish the only person who could seal a Bijuu successfully from Konoha. Banish the Mokuton user from Konoha. Banish the Kyūbi jinchūriki from Konoha. Great logic pinkie." Naruto said putting a thumbs up at Sakura as she looked down at the ground embarrassed.

Sasuke smirked as he saw the pinkette get put in her place. Naruto then released a heavy sigh, before stiffening up. "They have arrived." He said as Kakashi and Tazuna finally arrived. "Let's go to the Wave my cute little genin." Kakashi said as the genin complied and followed Tazuna and Kakashi.

1 Hour Of Walking-
"Tazuna-san. Do wave have any ninja there?" Asked Sakura, not enjoying the silence which was over the five. "No, they don't. Wave is mostly filled with merchants and builders, but poverty is common there. You're lucky you were able to live in the good hands of your parents." Tazuna said as Kakashi winced, looking at Naruto. Fortunately, the blond had no reaction.
