Kiakee looked at the entrance of her tent, anticipating the arrival of her chiefs. She went over everything she'd say to them about chepi. She hopped they would understand and not kick her out like so many others. She heard voices outside getting nearer and nearer. She knew it was time to get up and mentally prepare herself for the argument that will no doubt arrive.

"Kiakee!"
"I'm here..."

Kiakee slowly got up and got outside her tent. The olo'eytkan was there with an angry and tired face looking down at her... As always. Kiakee averted her eyes to the ground as she never liked looking at angry people. Which was most people.

"You left right after you destroyed a meal and then come back with a purple abomination? What were you thinking! Humans can't be here!"
"She's not an avatar! And she sure as eywa not a abomination! She needed help so I brought her here! She's from the cave clan we all thought was a myth."

The tall man's face changes to a shock, then right back to angry.

"You think I'll fall for that? It's probably lying to you! Get it out of your tent NOW"
"NO! You won't bother her when she's sleeping! She needs to relax she just touched water for the first time and she's clearly overwhelmed. leave her alone!"
"How does someone fear water? What nonsense are you trying to fool me with!"
"I'm sorry!"

The two heated reef na'vis looked at the tent where chepi slowly made her way out of. The angry chief was shocked and in disbelief. Kiakee gestured chepi closer with a tiny hand wave and chepi slowly made her way towards them. When she came closer the supposed giant chief felt small next to the 12 foot purple giant. The olo'eytkan was looking for words but couldn't find them. Just like the rest of the elders all of them simply assumed they were all extinct. But here she was. A cave na'vi alive and well.

"You- you are...."
"I am chepi of the nockilam clan, a cave na'vi"

Chief was speechless. So was everyone around him. No one knew what to say. She didn't have eyebrows or 5 fingers. She was na'vi... she was a real and living cave na'vi.

« I'm here because I need to learn more about the tsahik role. There is no tsahik in my clan to teach me the way anymore. I require your aid please »

Kiakee was looking at chepi hopefully. She really wanted her to succeed and help her people. The chief looked at chepi thoughtfully yet confused. Chepi was quiet and patient. Waiting carefully for his response.

« I am walo'he, Olo'eyktan of the south metkayina clan. You are in need of aid, and we are here for you. Let me bring you to our tsahik »

Chepi was shocked but happy. A hopeful weak smile appeared on her face. As walo'he motioned a path, he began to walk there awaiting her follow. As she gently started walking, kiakee  started to retreat to her tent.

« wait! Aren't you coming? »
« Huh? »
« You're my friend! I want you with me! »

Kiakee was dumbfounded. The chief was dumbfounded. Everyone  was. Kiakee couldn't believe it. This girl barely knows her and yet calls her a friend? And actually wants to be around her? That's new...

«come on! »
« Oh! Uhhh, i »
« You don't need her aid, Well get you someone to install you here »
« But I want her! »

Walo'he looked at kiakee, then back at chepi. He was about to object, but stops.

« Alright... »

Chepi smiled brightly and hopped to kiakee. She held her hand and slowly guided her to the olo'eytkan. As she stopped in front of her, kiakee seemed to want to object, but she didn't. Chepi looked back smiling and kiakee could only smile back.

« Alright, let's go! »

Walo'he slowly started walking again making his way there the confused crowd. Kiakee could only think of what her new friend said. Friend? Alright? With me? She was confused. It was new... but she liked it. She was a bit scared to face pe'ye again, but excited that her new friend wanted to stay with her. As they reached the main hut, chepi slowly admired the beautiful structures around. So beautiful and new! They slowly got in the hut, walo'he calling to pe'ye.

« I'm he-..... what did she do again »
« Not her »

Pe'ye looked behind him seeing the tall and odd na'vi. Her mouth gaped open.

« This is chepi, of the nockilam clan »
« The caves? »
« The caves... »

Pe'ye slowly walked towards her, holding her hands out. Chepi slowly handed her hands out, ronal holding them gently.

« Welcome »

Chepi felt something in her pop out. She felt happy... but not? It was confusing...

« Tell me, what do you need help with? »
« My mother was the last tsahik or our clan, she past giving birth to me. My clan has not had contact with eywa for a long time. We were too afraid to go out and ask for help. But I know that's what we need. I need to know what I'm supposed to do to help my people, my family »
« I see. Do not worry. I will teach you everything I know about eywa, medicine and other things you deem helpful. We are here for you and you may stay as long as you need »
« ... thank you... thank you so much »

Chepi was almost crying. The tsahik gently placed her hands around her, tightening for a hug. Kiakee looked from her corner sadly. Seeming to want to cry too.

« It is late, you must sleep now to get all your strength for tomorrow. Do not worry, we'll try your best to accommodate you »
« Actually I think i can just sleep in kiakee's tent. When she hid me in the blankets it was nice! Like home! »
« Kiakee? We have better hu- »
« I want kiakee »

Pe'ye was gonna talk back, but she didn't. No point in it. Chepi looked back at kiakee smiling happily. Kiakee simply smiled back. Both of them made their way outside slowly walking towards the tent.

« Why is your tent so far away? »
« I can't bother anyone that far away »
« Huh? Why would you be bothering people? »
« I'm loud »
« But they are also loud! I saw their drums and songs, they were very loud »
« It's not that... let's just go to bed »
« Oh... ok »

Kiakee opened her tent and went into her corner. Chepi did the same piling a lot of blankets around her as possible. She bended herself into a circle and drifted of to sleep. Kiakee however just looked at her form the corner. Thinking so many things as once. Maybe this was a start to a friendship.... Something she really wanted.
