Cassiopeia Black was born on June 16th to Lady Aphrodite and Lord Sirius Black. Aphrodite Black was originally Aphrodite Williams. She died in childbirth, giving birth to Cassiopeia. To Sirius Cassiopeia was magic, she was emotionally and academically intelligent from a young age. She was his pride and joy. The Black family, was one of the most powerful families in all of England at the time. Sirius had wished that his daughter would be able to take his place in the house of Lords upon his passing, but he knew that would not be possible. He taught Cassiopeia how to dress and act like a man and a woman so she could have a chance. If that did not work he had arranged a marriage between her and a boy named Edward Lupin.
