JHOANA

"Will you leave him for me?" Bea

It took minutes before I could respond

"I can't" I cried

"I w...wanna stay with h...him, s...sorry" I added

"I was going to ask why, pero wag na. Considering that I am aware that all we have is just a game for you, at madali lang naman akong kalimutan, right?" Bea

"Hindi, m...mali ka............I love y...you Bea. Pero s...sana alam mo n...na hindi m...madali ang pinagdadaanan k...ko"

Nico is not well; he is ill. But if it wasn't for Nico's illness, I would have left him. Another thing is that everything will be messed up, from Nico's family to Bea's

"Trust me then" Bea at hinawakan niya ang both sides ng cheeks ko and pressed our foreheads together

"This fight is us against the world, not us against each other. Parting ways won't make things better" Bea

"Ano g...gagawin ko?" I said in whispers

"Stay with me" Bea

"Pero s...si Nico"

"I'm willing to accept whatever it is you can offer" Bea

Fast forward (months later)

ANTON (Bea's friend)

"Nandito ka na naman? I'm telling you he's ignoring me"

Ever since Bea found out that Jhoana is Nico's girlfriend lagi na niya akong pinupuntahan para lang sabihin na kausapin ko raw si Kiefer na umuwi na ng Pilipinas. Just to admit everything we did, in short gusto yata niya kaming makulong

"Are you really contacting him? For I know takot kalang na malaman ng lahat ang totoo" Bea

"Oh alam mo naman pala. Owww I remember you're snatching Jhoana away pala kaya mo yan ginagawa. Gusto mong malinis ka sa mata nung shota ni Nico"

"This is not for my reputation. It is for Nico and his family" Bea

"Hindi ako tanga. Alam mo Bei, the tables will turn. If you think Jhoana will think 'oh Bea is a heroo wooh' no. Hindi mo ba naisip? Boyfriend niya yung pinuntirya mo, malamang sa malamang magagalit yan. Kakalimutan ka niya at iiwanan"

"No. She won't" Bea

"Bakit, kayo na ba ha? Akala ko ba friends lang"

"Anton, please do my favor. My family is in power, hindi tayo makukulong" Bea

JHOANA

Night time

*ding dong* I'm ringing the doorbell at Bea's house

Late na akong nakauwi, galing pa kasi ako sa bahay nila Nico after my work. It's 9:28 pm na

I'm living with Bea, secretly. Nobody knows about this, not even our close friends and families

"Babeeee open the gate" I groaned

Wala sa'kin yung susi ng gate kasi hindi ko 'to dinadala lagi, but I know the password of the house door naman

Then bigla kong nakitang nag open yung door ng house, and Bea rushes out para lang buksan yung gate

Pagkabukas niya ng gate ay kinuha niya yung bag ko at binitbit ito

"Sorry. Have you waited long?" Bea

"Late na naman ako, sorry"

"It's fine, I understand babe. How's your day by the way?" Bea kisses my head

Then pumasok na kaming magkawak ng kamay

Bea and I are not in an official relationship, basta ang alam lang namin ay mahal namin ang isa't isa

But if the time comes that she asks me if I can be her girlfriend, I will say yes. I'm just waiting for her, but it seems like she's fine with this setup

Pagkapasok namin ng bahay niya ay linapag niya yung bag ko sa sofa at nagsalita

"You must be hungry, don't you?" Bea smiles

"Uhhhh"

"Ok, let's proceed to the dining room, babe. I cooked something so special" Bea

"Kumain ka na?"

"Not yet. I waited for you" Bea

BEATRIZ

I cooked her a steak, fave namin 'to kainin but......

"Is there something missing with the taste? Panget ba yung lasa?"

"No, no it's good" Jho

"Or are you sleepy now? Since it's late at night na?"

"Honestly babe, hindi ako gutom, nag dinner na ako with Nico" Jho at maingat niya itong sinabi

She's always like this. Well, sa first two weeks of us living in my house lagi kaming sabay mag dinner since may trabaho kami sa umaga, but now things got different

Flashback (first week of Jho and Bea living together)

"Babe, I thought dadaan ka pa kay Nico?"

Kahit masakit para sa'kin na alam kong laging nagkikita si Jho and Nico ay wala akong magagawa. At least saakin umuuwi si Jho

I have to put up with this because I love her.

"Pinabilin ko na siya sa private nurse niya, at isa pa nandun sila tita. I want to spend more time with you naman, tuwing gabi na nga lang tayo nagkikita. And most of all ayokong hindi tayo magkasamang kumain kahit sa dinner man lang" Jho

Lumapit ako sa kanya and held her cheeks

"I love you"

"I love you more" Jho

Then we kissed with so much love

Present

"Mmmmm ok, it's fine basta kumain kana. Oh you can go upstairs na babe sunod nalang ako"

"Sure ka? Pero wala kanang kasama" Jho

"Yeah yeah, don't worry about me. Take a rest now, kailangan mo yan"

"Right, byeee kumain ng madami" Jho at tumayo na ito then slowly nang naglakad palayo ng dining

I just lost my appetite

And I realized na habang tumatagal mas sumasakit na pala. Hindi ko naisip na pano kung bumalik yung loob ni Jho kay Nico, na ang akala ko ay hindi na ako maiiwan kasi mahal niya ako. Pero mali yata ako

I was right in the first place that I will eventually be left alone

*I sobbed*
