It's been a while hasn't it?

I've actually been doing this story on NaNoWriMo website, so it forces to write every day basically.

If you need motivation to write I highly suggest checking it out!

Anyways, on with the story

-----------------------

Whack!

Rose hit the ball towards me at a speed that could have broken the sound barrier.

"Are you trying to kill me?!!" I yelled as I dodged the ball that missed me by a fairy hair.

She smirked while throwing the ball up and down, "Maybe I am".

I huffed, "I'm not going to play with a fairy who murders anyone who plays with her as I released my shadow magic from hands to emphasize my point.

"Come find me when you have learned your lesson"

I wasn't really that angry at her, but I did want her to learn her lesson in what other people are feeling, since she isn't the most empathic person in the Shadow Realm.

In the Eternal Forest was where Rose and I had our yesterday adventure. Or really just Rose's, I was running for dear mercy because they chasing us with their wings and running on feet, even with a floatation spell on my feet, I wasn't as fast as them.

So that's how I tripped on the tree branch.

I honestly wasn't that hurt, just a scrapped knee and a few twigs in my bushy hair. I knew I was going to be in big trouble, since I went out of the castle without a guard with me, and to add to that, I got hurt and Dad would surely notice, so I snuck into my room, to only find him sitting on my bed, with demanding eyes.

Things didn't go very well that night.

I sighed as I hopped from the stepping stones of Immortal Creek and climbed up the first tree I saw.

Maybe now I can finally catch up on my journaling, since Rose interrupted me earlier today.

I conjured up my journal and wrote about my previous thoughts, adding little doodles to help me imagine the story latter on.

Pat Pat Pat

I heard a light patterning noise coming from the forest, but since the creek was making this rippling water sound, it was hard for me to tell which direction it was coming from.

Pat Pat Pat Pat Pat

I assumed that it was Rose coming to find me so I whisked away my journal with a flick of of my wrist and hid a bit higher in the tree, so that I could see her, but she could not see me.

I saw her emerge from the shadows of the trees, "Lex'? I'm sorry I didn't consider your feelings and I am ready to, " she paused, as if the word did not want to come out, "apologize".

Smiling, I congratulated her on her honesty and bravery to say that and I want to go down and surprise her, but a little part of me wanted to wait a bit longer, so she'll be even happier to see me.

"Lex'?" Please come out now" I heard the pain in her voice and decided that it had been to long. I hopped down from branch to branch with some levitation assistance to quiet my movements

"Hey Rose, missed me? I chuckled as I made my presence clear.

She whipped her head over to me and rolled her eyes playfully, "You wish".

We both laughed together from opposite sides of the creek.

Crack

Behind me I heard a snapping of a branch and Rose stopped laughing. I looked her, my eyes furrowed together as to ask her why, but her eyes were looking past me and latched on to something.

Slowly I turned my head and saw an army of light fairies pointing aiming their luminescence at Rouge. As we were taught in school, luminescence shot at Shadow Fairies seriously drains their magic, since we need magic inside all of us in order to live, in large quantities, it could even kill.

"Lex', I'm gonna need you to come this way" Rose looked into my eyes, pleading, and for the first time.

I saw fear.

Hope you liked it.

And hopefully, soon in my artbook, I'll post the models, so you can have a better understand for them, or maybe even an official cover.
