Part 2

It's the next day, I wait outside Sophie and Agatha's school. Moments later a bunch of kids came out the building, including Sophie and Agatha.

"Oh, I hate my stepmother!" I heard Sophie say.

"Whoa, Whoa. What?" Agatha replied.

"There's an opening at the factory, so she's making me quit school to bring in more money. I don't understand why Y/n couldn't be the one to go."

"I'm the favourite, simple." I replied as they walked nearer to me, Sophie crunched her nose and glared at me.

"So I will quit too. Can she get me a job there with you?" Agatha asked.

"And then what? We just fade into this town like everyone else? No, Aggie. My mom said I'm supposed to do something important. Something that matters. So, I'm leaving tonight."

"Escuse me?! Why wasn't I informed of this." I spoke. "I literally live in the room next to yours!"

"Wait, Sophie... you've never even set foot outside Gavaldon. You don't even know what's out there. None of this really do." Agatha said and Sophie looked at you.

"She does. She's left before."

"It's just a bunch of trees, really." I replied.

"You know nothing can ever happen for me as long as I'm stuck here. I can't settle for an ordinary life. I won't."

Sophie sat down on the grass and I folded my arms. Agatha sat next to her.

"Hey, look." Agatha pulled a stick crown out of her bag. "Remember?"

"Oh!"

"Yeah, I found it in my attic last week. See? You already did do something that matters. The day you became my friend. Please, I can't handle this place without you. I'll talk to your mom and dad, and I'll tell them how unfair this is. I'll call you Queen Sophie of Gavaldon. I will even let you give me a makeover. Just please don't go."

"Okay."

"You promise?"

"I promise."

"Oh, thank you!"

Agatha and Sophie hugged.

"You know I can't do big sister talks. So, if you don't leave I'll give you my sweets." I spoke as they hugged and Sophie laughed.

That night I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go for a walk. I got dressed first though Cos it can get really cold at night.

I sat by a tree and saw someone in the distance.

"If that's Sophie, I'm going to kill her." I whispered to myself.

The person got closer and to your not so surprise it was Sophie.

"Oh, for God's sake, Sophie!" I stood up and she jumped as I have scared her.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I could ask you the same thing."

"I'm leaving." She said and looked at the 'Leaving Gavaldon' sign.

Just then a person jumped up from behind Sophie, making her gasp.

"You were gonna run away after all?" Agatha spoke.

"Aggie, I'm sorry." Sophie replied.

There was a growl and Sophie looked at you.

"Did you fart?" She asked.

"What? No!" I replied and furrowed my eyebrows.

"Then what was that?" Agatha asked.

There was thunder and me and Sophie looked up. The sky was red.
