Part 7

Once me and Lesso made it to the hall, Clarissa called us over.

"Where have you two been?" She asked.

"Someone wouldn't get up." Lesso said and eye sided me.

"I like sleeping." I said and smacked Lesso's arm, she smirked in response.
"It's quite loud in here."

"Well everyone is talking, Y/n."

"Oh, I didn't know that." I said sarcastically and I saw Dovey smile.

"Shut up!" Lesso shouted and me and Dovey jumped a little. "Everyone, find your seats."

Everyone sat down.

"Jesus Christ." I said and placed a hand over my heart, Lesso chuckled.

"Let's begin."

"Mm." Dovey agreed. "To access one's magic, one must first unlock one's finger glow."

"Once you've mastered your finger glow it will prove to be invaluable. Shall we?" Lesso got some sort of key from her jacket and Dovey magically appeared one. I giggled with excitement and Lesso looked at me. "What's so funny?"

"Literally nothing. I don't know why I did that." I responded and looked at her.

"Have no fear, Evers. Good feels no pain." Dovey spoke.

"Nevers..." lesso laughed and then inhaled. "It's going to hurt. Line up!"

I watched Dovey put the key in one of the Evers fingers.

"Hmm. That's going to feel familiar." I spoke and Lesso chuckled.

Lesso put the key in Hester's finger and it went through it. Hester gasped and her finger glowed.

"Your finger glow helps you become aware of the power inside you." Dovey spoke.

"Ooh!" Hort yelped as the key went into his finger. "Ow, Ow, Ow! Thank you, ma'am."

"When your finger glows, it means you've begun to tap into emotions powerful enough...to cast a spell." Lesso spoke and put the key into Anadil's finger.

"The stronger your feelings...the stronger your magic."

All of a sudden Sophie came into the room through the curtains. Her hair was short and she wore a pretty cool dress. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at her.

"I hope I'm not late." She said and made her way down the two lines.

Honestly it looked funny, it was like she was expecting music to play as she walked nearer to me, Lesso and Dovey. When she was infront of Lesso she looked at me.

"How do I look, Y/n/n?" She asked.

"Uh... cool." I said and she smiled.

"Still wants my opinions on things. Why?" I mentally asked.

"What is this all about?" Lesso asked.

"This? Turns out you did me a favor. I was long overdue for a makeover." She replied.

"Wasn't that like two weeks ago?" I asked.

"I needed time to plan my entrance, Y/n!"

"Okay."

"Now, if you wouldn't mind activating my powers, I'd be most grateful."

Lesso put the blade in her finger and her finger glowed.

"Thank you."

Sophie did the same thing as she exited, waving her finger around.

I looked around the room to see If anyone else found it funny. Lesso looked at me and smiled, looks like she finds it funny too.

For the rest of the week, Sophie would dress up like an Ever but it was obviously all black colours.

Me and Lesso sat in the doom room. She was polishing a few things and I watching her. Seeing her touch blades, weirdly turned me on and she knew it. This time was different. I sat in the only chair in the room, she was polishing the axe and then she looked at me.

She stood up and walked towards me, the axe in her hand. She stopped infront of me and placed the axe on my cheek.

"Raven... what are you doing?" I asked.

"You know you like it." She responded and then sliced my cheek with the axe. I winced in pleasure and then she put the axe on the floor. She leaned in closer and kissed the corner of my mouth and slowly made her way to the cut. She licked the cut and kept the blood on her tongue. She licked my lips, letting the blood transfer to my lips and then kissed me.

I groaned as she put her hand around my neck. She got a knife out from her pocket and put in on my arm. She moved away from my lips and she licked the blood away from her lips.

"Are you going to cut my arm?" I asked and smirked at her.

She harshly cut a long cut down my arm and I winced. "How come I haven't had my finger glow? You said I'd get it the same time as the others." I asked.

"Hush. I was waiting for a perfect moment and I think this is one."

She pulled the key out from her pocket.

"How many blades do you have in that pocket?"

"Many. Hand out!"

I did what she told me to and placed the key over my pointer finger. She quickly stabbed my finger and then my finger glowed.

"There you go. Surprised you didn't react to the pain." She said as she put the key out of my finger.

That's when the pain came. I jumped up and grabbed her shoulders, squeezing them.

"Fucking hell!" I spoke and then she kissed me, passionately.

I was about to take her shirt off, but she stopped me.

"No. Not today." She said as she pulled away.

I let my arms dropped to my side and pouted.

"Oh, come on."

"No, now come along we have work to do."

She left the room and I sighed.

"Hurry up!" She shouted and I quickly followed her.
