"ah, shit." katsuki swore after looking at his phone, before shoving it his jeans back pocket.

you and him stood 2 blocks away from the hotel you and your friends were staying at.

"what's wrong, katsuki?" you looked at him worryingly, toying with the hem of your sweater.

"sorry y/n.. but will you be okay walking the rest of the way? something came up, and one of my stupid friends is forcing me to go hang out with them." he closed his eyes, and sighed dramatically.

huh..?

"oh, sure! ill be okay in my own.." you tried to sound lighthearted, but that didn't stop your fading smile from disappointment.

"does this mean the it's over? our date is finished? oh.. but i wanted him to walk me to my hotel door, and kiss me goodnight."

"y'know what, screw him, i'll just stay at the hotel with you and the rest of the idiots." he chuckled, making your mood do a full 360.

"really??" you didn't mean to sound so cheery about him ditching his friends.

..and you couldn't help but smile at him, like a child receiving a puppy for christmas

"yeah, why not? i can hang out with him any other time."

"plus, you looked reaalll sad when you heard i was taking off." he smirked at you, making your cheeks flush red in embarrassment.

"i wasn't sad! i was just confused since you said you wouldn't leave a girl like me in tokyo, all by herself." you explained, which made his cheeks flush, too.

"damn, i really am a terrible guy, huh?" he huffed, genuinely feeling bad about almost leaving you alone.

"your words, not mine," you teased him back, making his eyes widen in surprise, and his eyebrows raise.

"woah, my little y/n, teasing me? you've certainly gotten less shy." he smiled.

..woah.. 'my little y/n?'

this is certainly going in your journal.

"weLL, if you call that teasing, then you're in for a rough ride." you ran ahead, to cool your face in the rush of cold air.

which wasn't your smartest move, since he caught up to you in a mere 3 seconds.

but he didn't tease you thankfully, instead, he smiled at you, which you happily returned.
