it's been a week since you had your first date with katsuki, and you haven't hung out with him since.

but on the bride side, he did end up keeping his promise to you, he called you every night before you both went to sleep, and texted you at random times during the day.

you can't say you didn't miss him, though, you did see him during class and such, but you haven't spoken to him one on one in person.

you groaned as you flipped onto your back on your bed, sighing as you looked at the time.

11:08 PM, katsuki usually called you at 10:30PM, he probably fell asleep.

before it was routine for him to go to sleep at 8PM, but since you normally do your homework during the time he goes to sleep, the guy has been staying up 2 hours later just to talk to you.

you felt a little bit relieved he didn't call you, though, you had been feeling a little guilty you had been keeping him up late and making him get less sleep.

you got up from your bed, deciding to stop waiting for him to call and get ready to go to sleep.

ringgg-!

as fast as you stepped into your bathroom, you rushed right out of it, running towards your bed that had your phone laid on top of it.

you held your phone in your hands as you widened your eyes in surprise, before clicking accept and holding your phone to your ear.

"hey." his voice sounded raspy, an octave lower that he normally sounds.

"hi." you awkwardly said back, tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear, leaning back onto your soft memory foam pillows.

the atmosphere was awkward, the only noises that could be heard was both yours and katsuki's breathing.

"so-" you both said at the same time, making you and him burst into laughter.

"great minds think alike, huh?" you could practically hear his smile though the static of the phone call.

"i suppose so." you agreed, thinking of what to say to him next.

"y/n?" katsuki called out to you.

"oh sorry! did you say something?" you sat upright.

"yeah, want me to repeat myself?" he laughed.

"please do." you smiled, reaching out to your large lamb squishmallow, and start hugging it.

"anyways, back to what i was saying before you tune me out again" he teased you playfully.

"do you wanna walk to school together tomorrow? then maybe we could hang out after school, too, if you wanted."

you widened your eyes out of shock, he just asked you on a second date, over a late night night phone call.

"i thought you'd never ask." you smiled.
