Chapter 10: Oof

Lynix was horrified at the sight of his friend. "B-Bionic..?" He said shaking.
No response.
"Bionic?" He asked again, kneeling down to see if he was okay. Still no response. Lynix started to get really worried. He wiped the blood and oil off and ran out of the house. "DONI!!" Lynix shouted. Then something grabbed his shoulder. When he turned he saw Bionic. "Wh- what..?" Lynix said.
Bionic was covered in blood and oil. Lynix made a mistake looking at his face. His eyes were all black, the robotic part of his face had been partially ripped off, and his smile looked like a demons. Why is he smiling?! Lynix thought. Then his vision began darkening.. the last thing he heard was,
"Not your fault, theirs..." Then, he blacked out again.

"I feel like someone was calling me last night." Doni said trying to think of who it was calling him. "Well good luck finding who it was." Liger said breaking sticks off of a tree.
"Well now I'm not going to have any luck." Doni said. He turned to face Kiply's house. "I'll see if it was Kiply who was calling me." Doni said walking in that direction. "Good luck." Liger said. "COME ON!" Doni said annoyed.
He heard Liger laugh behind him.
When Doni got to Kiply's door it swung open. And in the doorway was Kiply, who looked tired and mad at something. "What do you want?" Kiply said reaching into her pocket. "I just have a question." Doni said still shook about the door swinging open before he could even knock. "Well what is it?" Kiply said crossing her arms.
"Were you calling me last night...?" Doni said. "Because I heard my name being yelled out." Kiply's tiredness and madness became concern and scared.
"Doni are you okay...?" Kiply said.
"I was up almost the entire night and I heard nobody calling your name."
Doni began to feel confused. "Maybe it was in a dream..?" He said turning and leaving. Kiply stood there feeling very concerned for her friend.

"Rage you in?" Doni asked knocking on his door.
No reply.
"Guess not." Doni said walking away.
"Doni?" Someone said.
"Yeah?" Doni said looking behind him to see who was talking to him.
"Why were you knocking on Rage's door..?" Bandi asked.
"I'm trying to find out who was calling my name last night." Doni said. "No luck so far though."
"Well, whatever you're doing you're concerning Kiply." Bandi said.
Doni got confused and said, "Kiply?"
"Why would she be concerned about me??"
"I don't know, ask Kiply herself." Bandi told him.
"Everyone's been changing since...
You know what happened." Doni looked over at Kiply's house. "I guess I'll stop then." Doni said. "But I still need to ask Bionic and Lynix." Doni ran up to Bionic's house to ask him the same question he asked everyone else.
Bandi watched from a distance as Doni knocked on Bionic's door. "Bionic! I've got a question." Doni said.

No reply.

"Fine I'll go to Lynix's." Doni said. Then he slipped and fell off of Bionic's porch.
"OW WHAT THE-?" Doni looked at the porch to see what he slipped on. "Bionic still didn't fix his face." Doni said looking at the oil splatter on the porch.
He got up and started walking towards Lynix's house. When he got there, on Lynix's porch was a piece of pink cloth.
"What the heck is this?" Doni asked as he picked up the pink cloth. He put the cloth in his hoodie pocket and began knocking on Lynix's door.
"Lynix, Leo, I have a question!" Doni said. Leo opened the door and said, "Daddy wasn't here at all last night." Doni began feeling concerned.
Lynix wasn't at home at all last night..?
Doni thought. "Leo, what do you mean he wasn't here..?" Doni asked her.
Leo pulled her doll out to the porch and said, "Daddy went to get some wood, but he didn't come back.." Doni looked into the woods then back at Leo. "Did you call my name last night Leo..?" Doni asked her. She shrugged and said, "I dunno, I heard some sort of scream though." She said plucking leaves out of Leah's hair. "Some sort of scream.... Did it sound like a car alarm but more human like?" Doni asked. Leo shrugged again. "Looks like I'm going to the forest then." Doni said. "Hey Leo, do me a favor and go to Kiply's house okay?" Doni told her. "Okay!" Leo said running off to the direction of Kiply's house.
Well, off to the forest I go.
Doni thought as he walked up to a bush.
"Is this the entrance..?" Doni said looking behind the bush.
"Well only one way to find out." Doni said stepping forward.
He slipped on a stick and slid down a steep hill while getting hit with small branches or sticks. "Ah! Hey! Watch it!" Doni said covering his face as he slid down the hill. There was a log at the bottom of the hill that was buried in the ground. When Doni hit the log he bounced of the ground and hit his head on a rock then blacked out.

When Doni woke up he was looking at the trees covering the sky. With Liger kneeling over him.
"Ughh... what happened..?" Doni said.
"You fell down the hill, hit a log, then hit your head on a rock and passed out for at least two and a half hours."
Liger said. "Oh, ouch.." Doni said rubbing his head. While he was rubbing his head he felt like something was missing. "Hey.." Doni said. "Where's my mask?" He asked looking around.
"I just realized you didn't have it-" Liger said. Doni looked behind Liger to spot his mask near the lake. "There it is." Doni said getting up and walking over to his mask and putting it on.
"What are you doing out here anyway?" Doni asked.
"I was going to ask the same question." Liger said.
"Well I'm looking for Lynix." Doni said adjusting his mask.
"I was looking for some rocks." Liger said showing Doni the small handful of rocks he had. "Why?" Doni asked him.
"I got bored." Liger said. "Then I saw you slide down the hill I was next to. So I ran after you. Then, you hit that log over there, bounced off the ground, then you hit your head on this big rock right here." Liger told Doni as Doni was looking at how long he was sliding for.
"That's a really steep hill." Doni said.
"You're telling me I slid down that??"
"Yep." Liger said. "Now come here your face is covered in scratches." Doni walked over to Liger. "Why are you doing this...?" He asked. "Because that's what friends do." Liger said. "Look after each other." Doni smiled a bit while Liger put band-aids on his face. "Thanks." Doni said after Liger finished.
"No problem, but next time take the path by Bionic's house to get to the forest." Liger said. "Wait there was a path-?" Doni said. "Yeah?" Liger said.
"Doni how hard did you hit your head?"
"I don't know man, I just feel stupid now." Doni said.
Liger sighed and said, "Come with me, we're going to Kiply's."
"Why?" Doni asked. "Because she knows what to do." Liger said dragging Doni up the path. "I don't have much of a choice if I want to go or not." Doni said.
When they got to Kiply's house it was about to be sunset. Leo was playing with Leah near Kiply's porch. (why does everyone have porches? Idk 🤷‍♀️)
When she saw Doni she ran up and hugged him.
"Dad you were gone for almost 3 hours!" Leo said. Then Liger separated Leo from Doni. "Hey!" Leo said. "Not now Leo. Go find (Max) and play with him." Doni said. "But Kiply told me not to leave without telling her." Leo said.
"Here, Doni you stay out here with Leo and... That thing. And I'll go inside and talk to Kiply about what happened in the forest." Liger said knocking on Kiply's door. "Oh, hey Liger." Kiply said as she opened the door. She looked at where Leo and Doni were. Then she noticed Doni's bandages. "Why does Doni have band-aids all over his face?" She asked. "Let me explain inside." Liger said. "Okay, sure." Kiply said, letting Liger in then shutting the door after.
"I guess we're alone now." Doni said.
"No, you have me and we both have Leah!" Leo said.
"Leah?" Doni said. "Who's that-?"
"My doll!" Leo said showing off the doll whose hair has several twigs in it.
"Doni we need you." Kiply said.
"Uhm, okay." Doni said going inside.
"Wait up!" Leo said following behind Kiply.
"Okay Doni, I'm going to shine this in your face." Kiply said pointing to a flashlight in her hand. She turned on the flashlight and hovered it over his eyes. "If you're trying to make me blind it's working." Doni said. "Well your eyes work." Kiply said. "What's that suppose to mean-?" Doni said. "Doni Say all of our names." Kiply said.
"Bruh what?" Doni said. "Okay..
Kiply, Rage, Kylee, Lynix, Leo, Liger, Bandi, Quiff, Renn, Bionic, (Max), and RGA." Doni listed. "Happy?" He said.
"Uh yeah..." Kiply said a little sad.
Doni realized he said Quiff's name and felt bad. "Sorry Kiply, I didn't mean to say his name-" Doni said. "You're fine. It was an accident." Kiply said. "Let's all go home now yeah?" Kiply suggested.
Doni brought Leo home with him while Liger returned to his house.
"Goodnight Leo." Doni said. "Night dad!" Leo said back. Doni walked to his room and sat on his bed. When he looked through his window he saw something shadowy in the middle of the area.
Doni walked up to get a closer look at what is was.
When Doni figured out who the partial shadow person was he froze.
No... it can't be.. Doni thought.

"Lynix...?"
