A WEEK HAS FINALLY PASSED, and they were nearing the day of the Battle of Verglas and Ignatius. Duri was anxious of it, but Oberon knew what he had to do. Ais was with them as well, fiddling with his fingers as his thoughts were lost.

"Ais... everything will be alright. I will do my best to not let any one of you die, alright?"

Duri stated in a rather serious tone as he held his older brother's hands. Ais looked at his green orbs, reluctantly nodding afterward.

The two of them shared a mutual feeling of anxiety, especially for Ais' side. He had a possibility of dying, alongside with his older twin, Blaze.

"I trust you... Duri." - Ais

"I know Ais. I know you do."

The nature wielder gently smiled at his older brother who gave him a small one. The two then hugged as a sign of reassurance.

Ais' grip on Duri tightened, making the nature wielder frown as he kept the water wielder close to him.

'Chaos... if you hear me. Please help me...'

The green-eyed boy muttered in his thoughts, pleading for the being's guidance. Ais could only bury his head on his younger brother's shoulder, he was so glad that he is there with him.

There were two of them, floating in his adobe, one of a dead child and one of Duri.

"Oh how I miss you, my grandson... but fear not, Duri shall do whatever it takes to reach the true ending of the story."

Chaos smiled, turning around as he walked away from the portraits.

But amidst the dark void, there was a dying light, there stood the dead child who frowned.

"Why must you put him into a loop of suffering, Chaos?"

"Is it to save him?"

"Or to entertain yourself?"
