Since Louis and Zayn adopted Liam they noticed something was wrong.

He wouldn't reply when they talked to him.

They got him with an audiologist and he recommended hearing aids, which worked well, since one week ago.

Since Zayn and Louis knew about Liam's hearing problems they started teaching him, Niall and Harry sign language.

Everything started when one morning Liam didn't listened anything, Louis got really scared and got him to the hospital.

At the hospital they told Louis that Liam's hearing was completely gone, so they recommended cochlear implants.

-But will that be a surgery?!

-Yes, Mr. Tomlinson, but we really recommend it, if we let less time run his speech will be better.

-Let me talk with my husband and I'll let you know.

-So they want to make a surgery to Liam.

The surgery day was today and Liam and Zayn were very nervous about his little boy.

But Liam wasn't really scared.

Zayn had an arm surgery some time ago and explained everything to Liam.

He was very young to understand but when Louis told him that Zayn and he were going to be with him Liam was relaxed.

"They will open your head, Liam" Niall signed

It was true, but to Liam that looked terrifying, actually to Louis and Zayn too.

Liam pointed Niall.

-Niall scared Liam about the surgery.

-Hey said that they will open Liam's head.

-Niall, I know it's real, but he is very small to know that the implants will help him.

When they got in the hospital Liam was almost shaking.

Zayn grabbed his little hand and hugged him.

The doctor asked.

Liam nodded unsure.

-Please change him in this gown while it's the surgery time.

-Yes, we'll do.

Louis was making laugh Liam all he could so he wouldn't be scared and it worked.

Then a nurse came with an stretcher.

-It's time. Who will enter with him?

-Me.

Louis said and stand up.

The doctor nodded.

"I'm scared papa"

"Everything will be okay, Li"

Liam hugged Louis and Liam started crying.

When they entered to the operating room and the doctor put Liam in the bed.

"I'm going to put this mask on your face and you will sleep, okay?"

"Just like daddy told you, baby"

Liam signed a little "Yes"

Louis holded Liam's hand and signed "I love you"

Liam just smiled to tired to sign.

Liam was down.

Some hours later Liam was resting is the hospital room bed.

He had a lot of bandages around his head and Zayn's heart broke in a million pieces.

Liam waked up and pointed to his head.

"You got the implant, everything went okay!"

"I love you Li"

Liam smiled and reached for Zayn's arms.

"We love you so much, you're our brave boy"

One month later they were again in the audiologist to finally turn on the implants and finally Liam would hear.

-Hi, Li

Louis said.

Liam was shocked.

He opened his mouth in surprise and hugged his daddies.

Liam was very happy to finally hear music and their family voice, sometimes the noise would make him explote and get into a mad mood, but he was really happy.
