Claire's POV

It's Thursday, and for the first time in the week, I stayed in school for the whole time. I don't hate it. I just don't get the point of it. But the most thing I don't get is, why I have good grades when I don't really work that hard. Genes? Maybe. It's a good thing though, a good thing.

I was walking towards my house which was just like a hundred meters away from school, and my phone was ringing. I looked to see my best friend, Grace calling me.

"Hey Grace, what's up?" I asked.

"Hey!!! You know how you still haven't met my other best friends, Luke, Michael, Calum and Ashton, the guys from 5 seconds of summer right?" She asked me.

"Well yes." I say with a giggle.

"Hey so I was thinking if we could have a 2 day sleep over with them. Like from tomorrow to Sunday? And I know you said you had plans with your family and it's important but just PLEASEEEEEE"

"How important?" I ask.

"Well it's almost Ashton's birthday and then they asked me to hang out with them and so I thought this was the only chance you meeting them, and I know it's like a stranger's birthday but it's going to be fun I swear pleaseeeee!!!" She says making the 'e' long.

I groan but eventually say yes.

"Fine. Gosh you're lucky it's not any of the family businesses and just a having fun trip!" I say sarcastically.

"Thank you so so soooo much! I swear you're the best girlfriend I have ever had! Oh god thank you so much! Thank you thank you! Oh god. Thank y-" I cut her off.

"Haha Grace, you're welcome. It's fine I'm looking forward to it! Is there anything particular I should bring except for my clothes and phone and charger and my laptop and maybe my toothbrush and oh! I am going to your house of that Ashton guy's house or...?" I blabber and ask.

"You're coming to mine. Ah! I have to tell the boys you're coming!" She says. I could image her smiling so goofy by the tone. "Oh and yes that's fine. You don't need to bring anything else." She adds.

"Okay! Well I'll see you tomorrow!" I says.

"Bye bye!" She says and we end the call.
It was going to be one fun weekend than the others. I have seen pictures of the 5sos boys by the way, I just haven't actually seen them.

I was up in my room, doing some of my homework even though I just wanted to sleep. I thought off finishing up some other stuff now so that I don't have to over the weekend. I knew I couldn't do all my work today and also the fact that I don't exactly know what we're going to have but I knew we won't have much and I could go to the library in the morning.

It was 8 now and I had already ate my dinner. I was still working on the extra stuff and I was almost done with it.

"Hey I'm back!!" I hear my mom close the front door and put all her stuff down. She was a really busy women but always helped me with anything.

"Kay mom!!!!" I yell back. I decided telling her about the sleepover after. Just about half an hour later, I finish all my work. I go downstairs to see my mom eating.

"Hey sweetie!" She says as she looks up.

"Hey mom. I know we have some plans over the weekends, but Grace really wants me to go to this sleepover and I really want to go too, can I go??" I ask with a puppy eye.

She sighs but nods.

"Fine Claire. But do all your school work today okay?" She says.

"Yep already done." I say with a smile.
