Chapter 8

Grace's POV
Luke finally came to school today, it's Friday and he was much better. He was recovered by now though I could see he was still a bit dull. This whole week, I would go to his house and do my homework and go home just for sleep and shower. I had no one at home so at the moment, Luke's was my home. Liz thanked me so much for caring Luke and it was really, not a huge thing. Luke had helped me when I was crying and was depressed.

I was walking home and I decided making some sandwiches even if it was night/afternoon.

"Hey!" I heard and turned around to see Calum.

"Hey Calum!" I say. He was in a skinny black jeans (as always) but he had a blonde highlight.

"ooooooo did Michael do that?" I ask with a laugh and touched his highlights.

"Kind of?" He tells me and we walk to my house. He decided he would just wait at my house, instead of going home and coming back to mine.

"Where's Luke?" I ask.

"Her mom came home early and they wanted to talk about some stuff so he went home." Calum replies. I just nod.

When we arrived, we ate some snacks because we were starving but a minute later, Claire came.

"Come join me cook." I say and me and Claire leave Calum who was doing something on his laptop.

"Whatcha making?" She asks.

"Sandwiches." I say with a shrug.

"Okay, let's start this thing." She says and we start making the sandwiches.

We had some ham, cheese and lettuce.
We had those lettuce, bacon and tomato.
WE HAD A LOT. And we only have four people.

But I knew, I would be eating a lot and so will Claire, obviously so will Calum and Luke would too.

We both packed the sandwiches, some drinks, snacks and we were ready to go.

"Luke said he'll meet us at the beach." Calum says as we get out of the house.

"Yeah I know, I got a text from him." I say and we all walk towards the beach.

Since it was always sunny here, even if it was 5:30, it was bright.

We picked a spot, and we had the blankets and the foods ready.

As we wait for Luke, we all talk about school.

"Hey guys!" We all hear and we look back to see Luke waving his hand around.

I laugh at and we all wave back.

"Woah how many sandwiches did you guys make?" Luke says as he sits down next to me and see all the sandwiches.

"I said the same." Calum says as he shakes his head.

We all cuddle around, me with Luke and Claire with Calum.

We eat the sandwiches as we laugh.

"God, I'm so full." I say as I stand up.

"Same here." The rest all sync together.

"I can't believe we actually ate all those sandwiches we had." Claire states.

"I know right!" I laugh.

"Does anyone know what time it is?" Calum asks.

"It's- oh, it's already 10." Luke answers.

"I wanna have a sleepover again!" I whine.

"How about we all go to Grace's?" Calum suggests.

"How about your clothes?" Claire asks.
