Númenor'S DUNGEON

|| THE SILENCE WAS BROKEN BY THE SOUND OF GRUNTS AND SHOUTS FROM THE GUARDS. A white-haired woman lifted her head, bright purple eyes.

Who is this man? She thought her pupils were shrinking to adjust to the sudden light. The guards who weren't holding the man glared at her and spat out, "mind your own business! finally, you're at least getting a talk, mate," but the woman didnt say anything. Her eyes weren't on them anyway.

Halbrand, the one the guards had caught, was a fellow with brown matty hair but a fair face. The woman with white hair and eyes as Amethyst tilted her head at her new cage companion. she had little to talk with since these fellow prisoners were not very walkable, and neither was she. Soon the guards got Halbrand into the cage and left the two alone in silence. Halbrand was the first to break the silence. "so, how's life down here?" he asked, his eyes on the woman who still had to turn to him.

"the darkness can be deceiving. The light can promise," spoke the woman, speaking in riddles, are we? Halbrand thought, his eyes narrowed. "what is your name?" he asked. The woman smiled even though he couldn't see it. "many call me 'The White Woman' others... wer ir svaust zhinic persvek docar" (The One who walks in fire). Halbrand only narrowed his eyes. "what do you call yourself?"

That's when the woman finally turned, and the man was surprised to see such beauty. "Aelora"

Galadriel was running through the city, trying to find a way out.

But just as she was looking at a dinghy, a man's voice came to her pointed ears. "I would not take that one if I were you. one of the big ships is better at sea. That one barely gets you out of the harbor."

Galadriel turned and saw the captain of the guards who brought her and Halbrand here. Her party was still a waste of emotions. "what do you want?" she snarled. Elendil shrugged. "depend if you'll let me, elf. The Queen has told me to watch you and your friend. I think it's best you don't run away."

Galadriel suddenly takes out her dagger and points it at the captain. "you can call your guards, or you can let me go. Your choice," she said. Elendil held up his hands to show that he meant no harm to the Elven Commander.

Galadriel sighed and lowered her dagger. "you chose right. I don't want to shed blood unnecessarily" the captain nodded, and with a sweep of his cloak, he let her go. But he also said something to her before she left.

"There is a prisoner down in the dungeons who wishes to see you, lady Galadriel" this made the elf girl stop "who?" she asked. Behind her, Elendil shrugs. "I don't know. she didn't say her name, but your friend is down there too."

That made Galadriel turn and look hard at Elendil "take me to them" he nodded and then led her down to the dungeons.

The caves were dark and stuffy, but a small flame light brought some life to the cold stone walls.

"ah, you decided to come to save me anyway or what?" says Halbrand's voice, and he stands up from his seated position by the cage's grating. Galadriel gives him an angry look. "I was about to run away. what do you want?" Halbrand laughs a little "it wasn't me who called you down here. it was her" he points to the other cage where the woman who was here first sits. her back is to the elven commander. "who are you?" Galadriel asks.

"many call me the White elf. But you can call me Aelora," and the girl turned around, bright purple eyes met blue. "and you are Galadriel, the army leader of Lindon's many elves. It is said that you are looking for a way back to Middle Earth" Galadriel nodded, and Aelora stood up.

"I was beaten in this dungeon for a deed my ancestors did. I have been spat on and caged now that time is over. I am with you, Galadriel, in every step you take."

And after that, Aelora leaned forward. Elendil was about to step forward, but Galadriel stopped him "wait" in his hand until the white-haired woman was a star. "a token of my esteem, elf. a little hope for your and my future."

Galadriel took the lead and looked at it before looking up at Aelora. "this is the symbol of an old house. A house that was said to be lost," she said. Aelora smiled "the house is not dead yet. I am Aelora Targaryen, daughter of Prince Rhaegel and Lady Alys Arryn. The last dragon."

◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥◤◢◣◥

Galadriel was speechless. this was the first time she had met a survivor of House Dragon. Or better known as House Targaryen.

She had heard of their eternal bloodlust and their dragons. Dragons could be tamed since they rode them. But Aelora just snorted at that. "dragons are not slaves," she said, and her eyes suddenly became much brighter.

"dragons are our friends, our faithful companions. But, unfortunately, I have been treated with so little respect that the time will come when the dragon's fire will roar again" her voice began to fall, and she soon collapsed.

Galadriel ran to her side and flung open the cage door. "hey, come back to us!" she shouted, but Aelora just gave her a weak little smile. "take me to the fire... only fire can save me" Galadriel gave the woman a horrified look and looked up at Elendil who just stood there with wide eyes. Halbrand had managed to find the lock broken and was out of the cage as well.

He walked over to Aelora and Galadriel and lifted the white-haired beauty in his arms. "don't worry. You won't die under our watch," he said, and the three walked out of the dungeons and into the sun's warm light again. but they could not find fire, and Aelora grew weaker and weaker. "ask the queen for a torch or one of your men!" Galadriel shouted as she re-entered the palace.

Many guards ran around at the behest of Elendil. Soon they arrived at the throne where Queen Regent Míriel sat on her throne.

She stands up when they enter the throne room." what is the meaning of this!?" she shouts, but neither of them answers. Then she sees a familiar face and turns pale. "oh no..." she sighs before turning to a man with black, gray hair "get fire, quick!" the man asks indifferently and runs away.

Meanwhile, Elendil has been given a torch and is holding it in his hand. But, unfortunately, nothing seems to be helping, and Aelora is getting weaker. "the f-flame," she hisses out as her purple eyes flicker from awake to asleep. "the f-flame can save me," Elendil gives the torch to Galadriel; who in turn places it next to Aelora.

Halbrand walks away, and so do the others. The guards have stopped looking for torches and now watch as one torch flares up, and the fire spreads around Aelora. The fire touches her but without burning her. It soon felt her whole body, and she sat up, her eyes as bright as ever. '

She turns to look at Elendil and Galadriel and Halbrand and even Queen Regent Míriel "thank you, you saved me," she says and stands up with the help of Galadriel and Halbrand. Queen Míriel smiles and walks over to her. "I'm sorry we threw you in the dungeon just because your ancestors had done something. Mine was, and I was scared. We all were. You came riding on the back of one of those beasts we've learned to fear. But of course, it forgives us not to throw you in jail. My sincerest apologies."

Aelora smiles and holds her hand. "my family is not like this anymore. Because it will be a new era, the Targaryen will no longer hide in the shadows. Instead, we will help those who need it like before the Great Eclipse," she says, and the people gathered in that hall cheer, and Queen Míriel smiles. "You are welcome to stay with us as long as you wish, Princess Aelora," she says.

But the princess shakes her head. "I will join Galadriel on my way back to Middle Earth. It's time I got off this island."
