NUMENOR'S PIER

__________

|| PRINCESS AELORA LOOKS OUT TO THE ROBBING WATER. Her time on this island is over. a new time in another distant country awaits. But this time, she won't be traveling alone.

"Are you ready?" Galadriel asks as she walks up to the beautiful woman who turns to look at the elf. "as ready as I can be. The last time I went anywhere was here. I took the way of the air; my dragon Kronos, a beautiful beast, took me here. He and father thought I might be safe here. But they didn't know what had happened to this land. A darkness has fallen upon it, Galadriel. A veil that not even fire can burn down."

Galadriel looked at Aelroa with pity in her eyes "well, we're getting out of here, so you don't have to be afraid of not getting the respect you need," she said, and Aelora smiled. "I suppose so. With you and Halbrand by my side, we can achieve great things," which made Galadriel smile as well, and the two women soon got into one of the large ships that Elendil piloted.

"Are you ready, ladies?" Halbrand asked as he came aboard. Aelora smiled at him and took the bag he had over his shoulder "yes, we are," Halbrand nodded and smiled, too. "well, what are we waiting for? Let's get back to middle earth."

The ladies cheered, Elendil smiled from his place at the helm, and soon they set off towards the traveling sun. Little did they know then that they would befriend or even meet someone Aelora thought she would never see again.

Well, the trip across the sea was not that bad.

Aelora had a good time and became more assertive with her new travel companions. Even Elendil. But she felt that she would find something she had been kept from for years. It began when the sky let out a strange loud noise.

Halbrand and Elendil, the only men aboard, thought there was a storm coming, but Galadriel and Aelora knew better. "that can't be a storm," Galadriel said, and her blue eyes were fixed on the sky where the clouds were starting to turn red from something painting them. Not the sun since it was already on the other side of the sky.

"you're right," Aelora said and walked to starboard, where she could see a little better even though her eyes were sharper than Galadriel's and the men's. After a while, the sound returned, this time closer and stronger.

Aelora began to recognize the tone of whatever made that sound and gasped "it can't be..." she whispered to herself, and after a few minutes, the sound echoed again, this time above them.

All the crew on the boat drew their weapons, but Aelora stopped them "no! don't take up arms now. just be completely calm" the men gave her questioning, angry looks, and Halbrand went up to her, apparently scared. "you can't mean we won't kill whatever comes?! What if it's like the Worm? What--" "hush this time, it's nothing dangerous. well, if you give him a fight, he'll give you."

And the sky opened, and down from the holy realm came a black creature with great strong wings and shining ember eyes. It was a dragon, the last dragon. Aelora smiled as her old friend came into view, and she walked over to where he wanted to get down, which was the bed on the port side.

The men aboard were stiff with terror, and so were Halbrand, Elendil, and Galadriel. "hey, Kronos. I've missed you," Aelora says, placing her hand on the black dragon's snout. He growls back and closes his eyes as his rider touches her forehead with his muzzle.

"you finally came back," she said. Kronos growled a little in a playful undertone and opened his eyes. While the others couldn't hear it, Aelora could clearly. I'm sorry, princess. I was busy trying to find my brothers.

Aelora smiled "it doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're unharmed," Kronos smiled. Large sharp teeth came into view, and the men aboard screamed and gathered together, whimpering. "w-why is there a dragon here?" Halbrand asked in a trembling voice, and Aelora turned to her friends.

"Galadriel, Halbrand, Elendil let me introduce Kronos the Skylord. He has been my friend through countless ages," she said, smiling at her proud old friend. He nodded his big head and said calmly, it is a pleasure to meet such people who have protected my princess. Say whatever you want, and you will get it.

this caused the men abroad to look at verdure and Aelora to snap at her dragon. "Kronos, we don't give other things unless they need it!" she hissed quietly, but Kronos laughed. But, of course, my princess.

And he flew up before he landed in the boat, which caused it to rock. "hey, take it easy, mate," said Elendil, flailing his arms to keep his balance. Your boat can bear me, lord Elendil of Numenor, Kronos told in a gentle rolling tone before bowing his head so Aelora could climb onto his back.

But Halbrand didn't like that "wow, wow, you're leaving us?" he says, walking up to the young princess he has come to like. Aelora climbs onto her faithful friend and sits on his shoulder blades or where the shoulder blades meet his back.

"no, Halbrand, I'm just getting an easier, more pleasant transport. I would have let you go, but I can't risk causing a stir. Dragons are not particularly liked in Middle Earth," and with that, she took off, but something was left in Halbrand's hand.

He looked down at it and saw that it was an amulet dangling from the star Galadriel was given at their first meeting. On the amulet's red runbin was inscribed: "House Targaryen will answer the cries of the helpless, and the weak can trust them" it made Halbrand smile and look up at the soon-to-be-darkened sky where he could no longer see Princess Aelora.

I'll keep this in mind, he thought before he went below to help some sailors with the food they wanted here on the ship.
