" Wow Penny you look great"
I manage to hide my surprise as I spin around towards my bedroom doorway.
" Thanks Az", I say, turning back to the mirror. I re apply a darker red lipstick and inspect my reflection , "do you think they'll recognize me?" I ask, a slight crinkle in my brow. Az walks up behind me with slow sure steps, and stops. Staring into my eyes through the mirror.
" They won't.", he reaches into his jacket pocket and hands me a sealed envelope . "Wouldn't want the prey to get startled before the slaughter," he says as I observe its contents. I give a sweet smile in response, but on the inside I bare my teeth.
