No beta, we die like Copia in the summer-

You were in the middle of scrubbing a wall along one of the halls of the abbey, having done your best to stay out of the way of the other siblings and ghouls. You were surprised of how little you got to see any of the Papas, though it really shouldn't have been, since they usually tended to stick to the main ministry versus the side abbey. That is, when they were even at the ministry. A good portion of the time, they were absent, going out to spread the word of the church through their rituals.
A loud but solid ring of a bell shook you out of your thoughts. The church bell. Shit, how long had you been working here? It was getting close to lunch.
You finished up your task and put the supplies back in a closet before hurrying towards the kitchen.

Catching up with a group of siblings heading towards the kitchen, you breathed a heavy sigh of relief, knowing you weren't late.
As you reached the kitchen, you spotted Swiss and another ghoul waiting by the doorway. Both wearing the same mask, so you knew it wasn't Ifrit again, but you couldn't remember this one's name either. They were around the same height as Swiss, but they were heavier set, with a wider frame than Swiss.
Swiss' eyes suddenly caught your gaze and their red eyes narrowed behind their mask before they turned to walk into the kitchen in front of the siblings. The other ghoul attempted to follow them, but had to wait, instead following in right behind the other siblings and you.
"Morning Swiss, Morning Siblings, Morning Aether." One of the older sisters greeted as everyone walked into the room. Ah, Aether was the ghoul behind you then. Good to know.
"Today we will be making a light, but filling lunch of soups and sandwiches. Remember, we will be having a large feast tonight before Papa Terzo's ritual, so there is no need to eat tons before." The sister continued, "Half of you will be preparing the soups and the other half will be preparing the sandwiches."
You took in a breath as the sister started to separate the group off into the two zones.
"Aether is on sandwiches, Swiss will be leading soups." She named the ghouls, since they had been there the longest and would be the most help for newer siblings. She named several other siblings off into each group before finally calling you, "Sibling y/n, you will be with sandwiches."
You let out a heavy breath of relief. Not only did sandwiches sound easier, you wouldn't be working side by side with Swiss.
The groups separated as everyone was sorted out and you followed Aether over to the table where you would be preparing the sandwiches.
As you all gathered around the table, one of the older siblings began to explain how to make each of the types of sandwiches and how to set up each of the ingredients before letting everyone get to work.
You quickly lost yourself in the repetition of making sandwiches, working along the other siblings. They were simple and easy to assemble and before you knew it, you were almost done.
As you finished up the last few sandwiches, the siblings around you were finishing up as well and starting to clean up and arrange the sandwiches on their platters. You quickly cleaned up your dishes and knives, walking over to a few siblings that were working on washing the dishes.
