Chapter 12- Dreams

Place: Dipper's Bubble

A forest; there were trees, lakes, birds and the sound of a wild mind. But something was missing or rather a someone, and that was Dipper.

"It is unexpectedly calm"
Ford said.

"No... it's just right, Dipper would like this. But where is he?"
Mabel called out, a nightingale landed on Soos' shoulder, making him laugh.

"Well we gotta walk around, we could seperate?"
Wendy suggested.

"No, we shouldn't. We might get lost"
Ford said and they started walking in the woods, they were changing directions when someone thought it was a better way. After half-an-hour of this they got tired and sat underneath of a tree.

"Where is he!? The forest is too big!"
Mabel cried out.

"Hmm well indeed, but y'know what they say: Lose hope! Hahahah..!"
Bill cooed, laughing.

"Shut up!"
The group shouted at the same time. The minutes were passing by but still they were clueless.

"I am so done with this!"
Wendy yelled and took her axe. She has been carrying it since forever. She brang it over a tree and hit it with her axe. Nobody stopped her, they were curious if something'd happen. After a couple of hits the tree was cut down.

Then all of a sudden the wind stopped and a figure appeared in front of them, they recognized him in a second.

"Wendy? Soos? Gruncle Ford, Stan? Mabel?"
He asked out. He was in perfect state, no difference when they saw him as an illision of Bill's. No scar, no bruise.

"Dipper!"
Mabel yelled. Leaving the mirror there, she rushed over him giving him a big hug that they fell.

"Hey Mabel"
Dipper smiled. He hugged back. It was warm all of a sudden, happy waves filled the air. Then Mabel broke the hug and stood up. She offered a hand to Dipper and they walked to the group.

"So what are you guys doing here?"
He asked, both of them sat down with the group.

"We are here to get you back of course!"
Wendy shouted.

"I found a loophole"
Mabel said.

"We need you to come with us"
Ford said.

Soon everyone had said something, it almost turned into an argument. It came to a point that it hurt Dipper's ears.

"Hey hey! Calm down everyone. I missed you all and everything but I can't go back"
He said, causing a gasp from everyone but mostly Mabel.

"Why?"
She asked calmly not showing hints of sadness.

"The reason is not important. Just look on the bright side we have nothing to worry about here!"

He smiled, he barely smiles. He looked at the tree, which was cut down by Wendy a few minutes ago. And it was good as new, the tree was brought back to life.

"The outside is ...cruel. He can't come here"
He continued, knowing Dipper meant 'Bill, the dream demon' by 'him' the Bill himself laughed.

"Uhh- is there someone else with you?"
Dipper asked.

"Hi kid, missed me? You sound like you did, come on admit it!"
He cooed between laughs.

Dipper saw him inside the mirror and grabbed the mirror. He was stunned for a moment then laughed painly.

"Yes, yes I missed you"

Did Dipper grew sympathy for the demon over the time? His face was like a puzzle, pieces were not together. You couldn't read what he was feeling from his face.

"You bastard!"

He shouted, grabbing the mirror with much force that it could break. It could've broke if Soos didn't take it away from him.

"Calm down dude"
Soos said, nervously. Dipper growled which just made Bill laugh more driving the brunette male insane.

"Leave"
Dipper said, more accurately 'ordered'.

"Dipper let's make a deal!"
Mabel shouted, it was surprising to say someone 'make a deal' but Bill. Dipper asked:

"What is for you and me?"

"You will come with us for me and for you-"

"You'll give the mirror to me"

They shook hands. So, the deal was made.

"Follow me"
Dipper said, and so they did. Mabel gave Dipper the mirror. Dipper grabbed it but didn't look at it. Dipper was leading the group outside.

"Kid, remember I have access to your mind?"

Dipper heared Bill saying through the mirror, just loud enough to let him hear. Yes, the demon had access to his mind. But he was trapped so he couldn't use his powers right? The demon he fought in Pacifica's Mansion couldn't.

That's when he got a sour headache, making him stop. He heared a voice inside of his head, or thought he did:

"You're better than this, pinetree."

"Kid are you alright?"
Stanlee asked.

"Yes, yes I am fine"

Dipper said as he continued walking, the pain hasn't increased. They now were at the edge of the bubble.

"You know pinetree. The words I said before tripping you here remains, at least once you leave it'll"

Then Dipper remembered that words.

"Take away your mind"

"Come on Dipp-dott! Let's go!"
Mabel yelled, she grabbed her twin brother's hand.

"No Mabel wait-"

"I waited long enough!"

Mabel said and they all hopped out of the bubble like nothing, first Mabel and Dipper of course.

The blue bubble broke, shattering into pieces before all of the pieces fading away like clouds.

"Dipper we made it!"
Mabel said.

"Dipper...?"
