"Did you see that?!" Erika asks excitedly, tugging your arm as she points to the sky. With her finger, she traces the path of the star as it crosses the night sky above you.
She's brimming with pure excitement at the sight, and it makes you so happy to see. She cuddles up to you, shifting even closer on the blanket you're sharing in an attempt to escape the nighttime chill.
"Sure did." You nod with a smile, wrapping your arm around her shoulders and pulling her into you. She tilts her head up to press a lingering kiss to your cheek before settling in against you, as the two of you return your attention to the stars darting across the sky.
