i tidy up my desk and pack up my stuff as school ends. Kids run through the hallways and chat to their friends in excitement. a soft smile lands on my face.
i wave at my friend who meets me in the classroom. she lets me know that shes gonna be late and that i can just go home now. I refuse and refuse but since when does anyone listen to me?
i step outside the warm classroom, into the freezing hallways. i swing my bag over my aching shoulder. i just need to get through a twenty minute walk and then i can relax... after i finish studying.
My legs ache and scream in pain as i reach the school gates. i see a figure in the distance but dont think much of it until its running towards me. i walk back in confusion until i see a familiar face. a reassuring face. jaeyun.
its raining outside. drops of cloud's tears come into contact with the ,now, damp concrete. jaeyun jogs to me with a tooth-achingly cute smile.
'yn!', he exclaims- he really is a puppy, 'here, come with me i'll walk you!' He encourages, pulling me towards him. his soft hand brushes on mine while he places it on the umbrella.
we're walking in the rain, together, alone, after school, to my house. what.

as we enter my warm house, we end our ongoing (and changing) discussions. 'hi mrs ln!' jaeyun happily greets my mother. 'yn i can help you with chem while you're studying you know' you kinda suck at it' he suggests, dragging me up my stairs and giving me a sheepish look.
this is gonna be a long night. ₊˚ʚ ₊˚♡
