i let jaeyun into my room and close the beige door. i try to compose myself as my back is facing him. theres no boy in your room. you're hallucinating. jaeyun isn't here. your just imagining it. theres no b-

'whoa' jaeyun accidentally (i think) lets out, snapping me out of my thoughts. i slowly turn on my heels to face him. he's looking at my posters... he's looking at my posters!!!

before i can stop myself or even bring myself to my senses, my feet lunge towards jaeyun and suddenly my body is against his and my small hands are over his eyes. 'hey! oh.. haha, uh, sorry' he sheepishly laughs.

my body winces when i feel jaeyun's big, cold hands ontop of mine. we stay like this for a fee comfortable seconds, until im brought back into reality. i yank my hands off of his face, now, extremely embarrassed.

'what?!' he giggles, oh god if here weren't right here infront of my my knees would buck and go limp. i stare at him before dragging my eyes to where my posters are. 'you- uh- didn't see anything okay!!?' i (try to) state, with a shaky voice and my eyes shooting daggers into his.

he laughs and throws his hands next to his ears, 'nothing.'

i tell him to sit next to me on my desk and we study. we study. we actually study. im gonna rip my hair out. why are we studying!?? shouldn't we be kissing right now or something?

'i think your red velvet, blackpink and p1harmony posters are pretty cool tho.' jaeyun blurts out while looking around my room. my eyes are wide and my head slowly turns to face his. 'What?' i mumble.

'i like kpop too! plus your plushies are so cute!!' he flashes me a comforting smile while grabbing a my melody plushie. 'we could get matching sanrio ones!' he happily gasps and squeals. this man, god this is why i love him.

'and i thought i was the dork' i blurt out, immediately regretting it. i throw my hand over my mouth. 'what!? damn i never expected you to be this mean!' he wines and fake sobs onto my arm.

out of nowhere (i don't know why this keeps happening)my hand lifts to pat his head, thats now resting on my shoulder.
'hey y/n?,' jaeyun starts, i hum in reply. 'your bed looks so comfy, can we go there?' he asks, lifting his head and giving me puppy dog eyes. the puppy dog eyes that i can never resist.

i nod with a smile as he giddily jumps from my hold and throws himself onto my bed. he's not wrong though- my bed is reallyy comfortable, its fluffy and soft.

and that night i opened up to jake so much more and we became closer. we laughed together and cried happy tears together. this may just be the beginning of something.
