Before we get into it, here are two versions of the cover.

It was an early Wednesday morning when a large commercial aircraft landed in an obscure city's airport. A flood of people exited the plane and walked into the building.
The weather had taken a turn when reports of a hurricane off the coast had gotten too close to the shore. Many aquatic animals and a few man made objects were found on the banks.
The sky was murky and moisture accumulated enough to cause a light drizzle in whatever remaining natural light was left.
Among the crowd of stranded tourists was a tall woman walking unbothered by any stares sent her way. She had only two suit cases, one of which was actually a backpack.
The woman was 8ft tall and pale with bright blue eyes framed by light blue, square glasses. Her accompanying makeup was light and in a blue hue.
Her dress went down to just above her ankles; it was a blue tinted, string strapped, white dress. Her black hair framed her face and laid atop her shoulders.
Her shoes were low pumps in a darker tinted blue, two beaded ankle bracelets on her left leg and a single bracelet on her right wrist.
A polite smile on her face as she made her way out of the airport, she notice that the locals seemed to be around her height. It was a surprise, but that mattered little in her quest.
Before she left the airport, she along with all of the other passengers were informed that the flight will be delayed for a few days- Monday being the latest.
They were welcome to stay in the airport lounging areas while they wait or stay in hotels/ motels partnered with the airport. She decided to stay in a hotel like many others.
The airport will contact her if there were any changes to the delay.
She wanted to push her nerves down, so she gave herself the goal of getting something to eat on her way to the hotel. She power walked to a restaurant closes in her line of sight.
She paid not mind to what the small city actually looked like in favor of accomplishing her objective. She'll have a look when she sits down.
She waited by a crosswalk for the light to turn red, tapping her foot impatiently. She held her suitcase in front of her and her backpack was worn backwards.
Once the light finally changed and the cars stopped, she walked a little slower across the street.
She opened the door and approached a podium at the front door. It was odd to be eye to eye with someone for the first time in a long time.
She was led to a window table. She surveyed the decor of the restaurant. The walls were a deep red, the ceiling was dark cream color, and black wood detailing.
The server asked what she wanted to drink as she was handed the menu and giving suggestions. She looked over the drinks and decided on tea.
"Okay, I'll be back with your tea. Please take your time.", they left.
She made sure her suitcase and backpack were on the side of the window as she looked over the menu. She wasn't familiar with some of the dishes or the restaurant itself, so she wasn't sure what was good.
As she thought about it, a loud but small group of four came in. She glanced at them because of the noise, but ignored them as soon as she did.
She frowned, nothing seemed eye catching at the moment despite her hunger.
"I'd go with the steak.", a man from the group walked up to her.
He leaned over one of the chairs. He wore a charcoal grey suit with green accents. The suit was a three piece and a bit of an overkill for the weather if she was being honest.
Yes, it rain bad enough to make her flight stop but honestly it wasn't so bad now.
"A bit early for steak.", she briefly remembers the plane food she was offered some time ago, it was not palatable to her.
"It's always a good time for steak.", replied the man.
She studied his face for a moment and regarded him with a questioning gaze.
"Do you often approach strangers on a random rainy day?", she quipped with a neutral, bored expression.
He let out a small cough he hid behind his hand. He glanced a way before looking back at her.
"Not really, you just looked like you needed some company. I know this place, I come here often. Trust me, steak is their best option. The wines not my favorite, the tea is adequate.", the conversation died there.
The server came back with her tea. She nodded to them in thanks.
"What would you like sir?", the serve held their notepad out.
"Sweet tea, add lemon.", he said with a bored tone.
"Are either of you ready to order?", the server asked.
She thought for a moment before laying her menu down and placing a arm on the table to lean casually on her other hand.
"Why don't you order? If you know really know what you're talking about?", she said with a careless demeanor.
The man sat down in the chair in front of him and ordered two steaks and a side of bread rolls. The server left after that.
"Your pals are looking at us, should I be worried?", she gave a light smile.
He shook his head. He adjusted his tie as he eased him self into a relaxed posture.
"No! My associates won't bother us. I'm sure they'll leave when their dinner is over.", he said a bit louder than before.
The small group back at his original table grunted and looked a way; seeming to be minding their own business after that talking amongst themselves.
Bet they're shxt talking you behind your back.", she chimed in.
They watched as the group stiffened a little before continuing their conversations more quietly. The man huffed.
"Of course they are.", he muttered displeased.
She giggled in amusement, looking directly at him. He became bashful and panicked, never actually having someone's attention on him in such a personal manner.
With a sweat, he opened his mouth to speak, grasping at something to talk about; "Hey."
She tilted her head in acknowledgment.
"Do you like cheese?", out of all the things to say.
The group he came from burst out laughing as he flushed red. He turned his head to glare at them. He slammed his hand on the table as he shouted at them to shut up.
She laughed too, he directed his attention to her and his anger died when he realized she placed her hand on top of his. Her eyes twinkled and her checks flushed with joy.
"Yes, I like cheese.", she finally answered.
It was quiet after that as he avoided looking at her; not wanting to embarrass himself further.

I wanted this to be a one shot, but it's taking too long to finish. So I'm cutting it up into parts to at least publish it before I forget how I want it to go.
Bye for now!
