Chapter 4: Graysons Move

Grayson starts to wake up
Grayson: *Groans in pain*
Grayson covers his face with his hand, feeling like he's going to die to his headaches immense pain
Grayson: Man.....these monsters *coughs* really did a number on me heheh....
Grayson checks his wounds
Grayson: Still not looking too good....I wish I had a way to ease the-
While Grayson was running his hand over his clothes to see if he had something he forgot about, he felt something on his pocket
He reached in and pulled it out
Grayson was filled with hope
Grayson: Of course! How get I forget about my potions?
Grayson poured a healing Potion on his wounds
Grayson❤❤50%💔💔
Grayson: *coughs* This isn't over yet, Grayson. Your friends are looking for you right now. I just gotta last
Grayson coughs up some black sticky liquid
Grayson: That's not good...
Grayson inspects the liquid
Grayson: What is this?? Is this what was on this monsters?
Grayson looks at his chest and stomach again, where Corrupted Arcanine bit him
He gasps of fear
His chest and stomach were starting to get covered, and it was spreading to his arms and face
Grayson: I gotta get this stuff off of me. This must be a cure around here, but I can't find it if I stay here.
Grayson seriously considers his next move
He knows that if he stays in here, he'll be safe from the monsters, but not only will the infection spread, but he heard something in the vent last night while he was getting here, so he's not safe from whatever that one is
Grayson: It's now or never
Grayson looks at his Potions to see if he can make this trip any easier
He finds a speed Potion, an invisibility Potion, a slow falling Potion, and a leaping Potion
He sees a strength Potion, but doubts that would do anything based on how it went when he last tried to punch the monsters
Grayson: Hmmm... Invisibility and Speed are useful for sure, but what about these 2?
Grayson holds the leaping Potion and slow falling Potion
Grayson: I guess I'll take leaping just in case there somewhere high I need to get to. Then again, if that was the case, then it would be useful to have the slow falling Potion in case I, well, fall I guess haha. I'll just take it to be safe
Grayson grabs his Potions and got ready to leave before he heard something in the vents
The vent was rumbling a lot
Grayson figured either this monster was quick on two legs, or it had multiple
Without thinking twice, he drank his Invisibility Potion
The creature showed up in Graysons room
It was a Spider
Looked like one from Minecraft, except way scarier
It stepped into the room and looked around
It quickly became bored and decided to leave
Grayson used this to get through the vents and back on the main floor
He was terrified, but the Spider proved that they really couldn't track him
Grayson walked around
He could feel the infection spreading
He had to find something
His stomach growled
He realizes he needed food and water
He walked around until he found some kind of pill container
Before he grabbed it, he saw his own hand and realized he was no longer invisible
He needed to make sure he took a break between drinking Potion or it could have adverse effects on his health
He could take one every 5 minutes
He looked around
Nothing was around yet
Grayson: No time to waste!
He grabbed the pills and read the label
Grayson: These get rid of the infection!
He immediately took them
He checked his stomach and chest again
The black was fading away until it was gone
Grayson silently celebrates, which he realized probably looked stupid😂
The pills were on a table with 3 drawers
He checked the first one
Inside was many pills
Grayson: Nice
Grayson searched the second drawer
Bottles of water
He drank some of it
Grayson still was a little thirsty, but decided to drink more later in a safer area
He checked the last drawer
A good supply of food
He just took a bit of an apple and saved the rest for later
He now had the choice of returning to his vent or looking for more resources
He felt like he had a pretty good haul so he started heading back
Plus he was still pretty hungry and a little thirsty
His vent was in sight when a new monster dropped right in front of him, scaring the life out of him
It was a corrupted version of Loona
She was sniffing and growling
Grayson stayed very quiet
Loona went left down a hallway after a little bit
Grayson hurried to his vent
He didn't hear the Spider this time
Grayson: Must have left after it got bored or something
Grayson navigated the vents to his room
His heart dropped
The Spider had been waiting in his room
The Spider turned around and hisses before jumping on Grayson
Grayson stumbles around the room trying to get it off of him
The Spider is about to bite Grayson when he Hears a gunshot
The Spider squeals in pain as he gets shot off of Grayson and onto the floor

A Barrage of bullets coming from the vent entrance shred the Spider apart
Corrupted Spider🖤🖤0%🖤🖤
Grayson looks at the entrance
He hears a lot of vent banging footsteps
Shadows of figures start to form
Grayson is filled with relief
Ash and Loona: Grayson!
