Chapter 5: The Plan

Grayson: Guys! Man I'm so happy to see you
Loona and Ash rush to Grayson and squeeze him
Loona burst into tears
Loona: I was so worried about you!
Ash: Are you ok? Do you need bandages?
Grayson: Nah I'm good for now. Im a little injured but I can heal later
Ash: *sighs of relief*
They hug for awhile
Grayson: Is is just you two?
Ash: Oh no we brought everyone from the park plus Loona and Blitzø
Loona: Yeah they're coming
The others arrive and hug Grayson and are relived he's ok
Malaya shows up
Malaya: Grayson!!
Malaya rushes to Grayson and squeezes him
Grayson laughs
Grayson: I missed you too, May
Malaya is crying tears of joy
Malaya: *sniffles and laughs* I was so worried about you! I thought you were...
Malaya continues to sob
Grayson squeezes Malaya and rubs her back
Grayson: It's ok, May. I'm right here
Malaya continues to hug Grayson
Malaya: Get comfy luv because I'm gonna be here awhile
Grayson: Wouldn't have it any other way
5 minutes layer
Grayson: You alright, May?
Malaya: Yeah😊
Malaya lets go of Grayson and smiles
Malaya: Also, you dropped these
Malaya pulls out Graysons Staffs
Grayson: Thanks May. These would have been useful earlier😅
Grayson receives his staffs from Malaya
Grayson: Thanks for coming for me guys. I couldn't do this alone
Malaya: Of course, luv. You mean a lot to us and we were not about to lose our General
Grayson smiles as his team smiles back
Grayson glances at the corrupted spider and walks over to it
Ash: What on your mind, General?
Grayson: I didn't think these things could be killed
Grayson turned to face team
Grayson: So far, this is one of the 4 monsters I've seen. A corrupted Nightmare Freddy, an Arcanine, and-
Loona: A Loona
Everyone looks at Loona
Grayson: Thats.....right. How'd you know?
Loona: I saw it walking away from the vent. Do you guys not see it?
The group shrugged
Loona: So I guess only you and I have seen it.
Loona points to herself and then to Grayson
Grayson: Seems like it for now.
Marina: Hey Grayson?
Grayson turns to Marina
Grayson: Whats up?
Marina points behind Grayson
It was the Spider
Everyone gathered around the Spider
Ash: What is it doing?
Grayson: It looks it's...dissolving into the ground...?
The Spider was dissolving in the ground, but as it did, something shiny could start to be seen
Peashooter: Whats that?
Grayson reaches for it and grabs it
He tries to pull it out, but some of the black sticky liquid is making it difficult, but it would be gone soon enough with the Spider
Grayson waited until the Spider was gone before he had the object in his hand, but he couldn't make out what it was because it had the black liquid on it
He wiped it off to reveal a red gem💎
It shined bright and beautifully
Grayson: Whoa...
Malaya: It's beautiful!
Ash: What do you think it does?
Grayson: No idea, but I'm certain it's important
The ruby was glowing and it had magical energy flowing through it
Loona: You can see the energy flowing through the gem
Grayson: Yeah
Grayson put the gem in his pocket
Whitty: So what now?
Grayson: Well, I just brought back some supplies before you found me
Grayson points behind the group to the bags of food, water, and pills he found
Grayson: I'd like to refill my hunger and thirst before we go out again
Loona: Understood
Grayson eats some food and drinks some water
He's all filled up now
Grayson: Man, I forgot what it felt like to be full. I was getting used to the feeling of hunger here
Malaya shoots Grayson a worrying glance
Grayson: I'm good now, May. No need to worry
Malaya: You know as well as anyone I'll never stop worrying/caring for you
Grayson smiles
Grayson pulls out a healing Potion and drinks it
Grayson❤❤75%❤💔
Grayson: Alright I think I'm good
Ash: You sure? I can bandage you in you need more health
Grayson: I think I'll be fine. Thanks, though
Ash smiles
Ash: Of course.
Grayson: Alright, I think we should explore out there. If we find out what this gem does, maybe it could be helpful to get out of here
The group nods as they gear up and get ready for battle
They get out of the vent and start walking
They are walking for awhile
Marina: Is there any variety in this place? Sheesh
Grayson: Yeah I know right? Enough time in this place would make anyone insane
The group agrees as they continue on
Before long, Grayson stops the group
Grayson: Hang on, I hear something
Loona: Same here
Grayson and Loona creep a little father ahead
They look around A corner to see Corrupted Nightmare Freddy and Corrupted Loona talking
They quickly hide behind the wall and tell the others
Grayson: Quiet....Let's listen
The others nod as they listen in on what the monsters are talking about
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: Have you found them yet?
Corrupted Loona: Not yet, sir. I heard something a little bit ago. I think his friends are here
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: Damn it!
Corrupted Loona: Isn't that a good thing? We can feast on them and turn th-
Corrupted Loona stops and suddenly sounds scared
Grayson and his Team look around the corner to see Corrupted Nightmare Freddy choking Corrupted Loona
Corrupted Loona🖤🖤90%🖤🖤
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy is furious
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: YOU DONT GET IT, DO YOU MUTT?! Do you have ANY idea how strong that kid will be with his friends!! They already killed the Corrupted spider we sent in vents to finish him before his friends get to him and use him to finish them!!!
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy spins around and throws Loona to the opposite wall
Corrupted Loona🖤🖤60%🖤🖤
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: They've probably already found the Corrupted Heart Gem he dropped and it's only a matter of time they come looking for ours to put into the portal room to escape!
Corrupted Loona is still sitting on the ground, holding her throat trying to breathe
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy kneels down to Corrupted Loona
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: You know I don't need you. If you don't find them and kill them, I'll kill you and take your gem. It'll make me more powerful anyway.
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy puts his massive hand on Corrupted Loonas shoulder and gets closer
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy: Am.....I.......Clear?
Corrupted Loona: Y-yes sir. Of course.
Corrupted Nightmare Freddy shoves Corrupted Loona into the wall before walking away
Corrupted Loona groans in pain before letting a tear run down her face before getting up
She was badly injured from her body language but she slowly followed after Corrupted Nightmare Freddy
The others look for a safe place to discuss their plan, but Grayson stares and thinks about Corrupted Loona
He feels a hand on his shoulder
Malaya: You ok, luv?
Grayson puts his hand on Malayas
Grayson: Yeah. Yeah... Come on let's find a resting spot
Grayson goes with the others
Malaya looks a little concerned but follows
The group stumbles upon an office room
They all sit around an office table with conveniently the perfect amount of chairs
Whitty: So I think we all know what we need to do.
Ash: Yeah. From what Corrupted Nightmare Freddy said, each monster we kill we drop a...uh....corrupted gem thing?
Loona: And then we can use them to escape by putting them in some portal room?
Blitzø: So we'll have to find that
Marina: That's sounds like it would be kinda complicated. There's no way the portal room would be unguarded
Arcanine: Fair point. What are you thinking, Grayson?😊
Grayson doesn't answer
Everyone looks at him with worried expressions
Ash: Grayson? You alright?
Grayson looks like he was lost in thought as he shakes his head to get back into reality
Grayson: Uh right sorry. Um.... I'm not sure. We could rest up and get ready to fight the monsters the next day, but then again we still don't know where the portal room is, so we could also look for that and then call it a day. I just.....*sigh* I don't know.
Everyone shares worried glances
Peashooter: Is there something on your mind?
Malaya can tell that a lots going on I'm Graysons head
Grayson: No, I'm fine. It's fine. Just search this room for supplies. I'll be waiting outside the room just in case we have any visitors
Grayson gets up leaves the room, closing the door behind him
Grayson sits on the floor and just thinks for a bit
Everyone in the room is in silence, but does what they're told and searches the room
They come out with all the supplies they could ask for: Food, Water, Pills, and some weapons
The door opens and Grayson jumps up
Grayson: Alright let's find that Portal Room
The group still is worried about Grayson but follow him anyway
They were way closer than they thought
There it was, right in front of them
Marina: Nice! Now we know where it is!
Grayson: Right. We need to find a new shelter close by. It'll take took much energy and be too tedious to walk this distance every time
The group nods as they look around
It wasn't long before Loona found a big office with materials to make beds
The group settles down in their bed home and sets up their beds on the floor
Grayson: Goodnight everyone. Sleep well. We gotta a lot of ass kicking in the morning.
Ash: Night, Gray😊.
Everyone says goodnight as Grayson joins Malaya in her bed
Malaya sets up a bed next to Graysons
Malaya: Hey hun😊
Grayson: How you doing, Malaya?
Malaya: I'm alright. Worried about you though
Grayson: Oh yeah about what happend in the office
Malaya nods
Grayson: Yeah it was just....I know we have to kill these monsters to get the gems, but seeing corrupted Loona get thrown around by her own teamate rubbed me the wrong way. I don't wanna kill a potential friend, but even if she wanted to help us, we still need her gem eventually. It was complicated and I didn't know what to do ontop of the stress of what our next move would be. I didn't wanna make a decision that would get any of you hurt
Malaya looks at Grayson and nods in understanding
Malaya: I know luv and I see what you mean. I felt it too. Something wasn't right about their fight. It made me kinda wanna learn more about these things. They couldn't have started like this, right?
Grayson: Actually now then you mention it...
Grayson pauses
Grayson: When I got infected I felt myself....I don't know....it felt like I was......them. Like, one of them.
Malaya: Really?? So how do you think this happend?
Grayson shrugs
Grayson: I'm not sure. It's also confusing because that would mean there would be two Loonas and Two Arcanines and maybe more once we find the other monsters
Malaya: Weren't you telling me they're, like, lots of other universes? Maybe these things were dragged here by some monster that travels through dimensions or something
Grayson looks shocked
Grayson: Interesting. You might be onto something
Malaya: I don't know about that one. I was trying to convince myself when I was saying that😂
The two laugh
Grayson: Well, let's get some sleep, queen. We can talk more about the fight tomorrow
Malaya moves around to get a little more comfortable
Malaya: Sounds good. Night, luv
Grayson: Night, May😊 Sleep well
Malaya smiles as he slowly closes her eyes and dozes off
Graysons last thought was about Corrupted Loona being a potential Ally...
