Chapter 2

6:30 Sophia's pov.

I  have never understood why Maya hates me so much I never spread any rumours my asshole friends did, not me.  Frankly, I've always loved her dumb look she is always wearing her beat-up converse and baggy jeans. In all fairness, I did tell the principal that she was dealing drugs but it was grade nine okay I would never snitch now!! I've grown past snitching, especially not on the girl with the shag mullet and rings.  No, I don't like her like that don't even think that.  Ugh, Jessica is calling me, Jessica is my so-called best friend since the fourth grade but honestly, all she's ever been to me is a bitch. You know I'm not as mean as I look. What am I even saying? I need to stop talking to myself.

I arrive at Josh's apartment. Maya is already here she looks comfortable like she came home with him or has been here a while. God, why is she so pretty? "I can take your coat," Josh says. "Oh thanks, Josh" I answer. "It's actually JJ" Maya chimes in "oh sorry JJ" I apologize. 

"Let's get pizza this shit is so boring" JJ snaps at us "yeah I'd do pizza" Maya responds. I hate that she is so shy around me I just want her to like me. Maybe that's why I came because I just so desperately want Maya to not hate me.
"It's like 11:00 JJ when is she going home" I hear Maya whisper " Sophie my love sleepover yeah?" Jj says. My dumb ass says "yeah guys I'd love that I'm so bored let's play a game or something"

"Truth or dare?"
Jj asks. "Truth," I say "mmmmmm who do you like"
My eyes shoot over to Maya and for a second I almost say her beautiful name. "No one". My turn, "truth or dare Maya?" I suggest. To my surprise she picks dare.
"Kiss me" "oh what because I'm gay you wish" Maya answers. " a dare is a dare Maya," I say foolishly. Maya gets up off the floor and walks over to JJ's bed where I am sitting , climbs onto my lap and slowly kisses me.

Did I just kiss the enemy?
