The known world of Enthysia offered beautiful natural landscapes and rich bodies of water. Blessed by the first gods, the lands were rich in plants and habitats that were suitable for any race. After the great war of the four kings that lasted a century, the orcs settled in the north, the elves in the south and in the red god's reach, the dwarves built their kingdom in the mountains of Fildor in the east, and humans, who created wars for themselves over power, claimed the west. There were four realms in one land, with unity seemingly to never be seen, until one common enemy appeared beneath the lands and waters.

The underdwellers, who had pale, hairless skin, white eyes that saw clear visions in the dark, and immunity to poison emerged to the surface through a breach in the mountain of Fildor. Despite their species being created from a fragment of Enthysia's core, they lived in a very cold habitat. They were brutal and savage, but as soon as they stepped out of the sun, they went feral; their throats sought blood, and when they could not find anything else, they preyed on each other.

Underdwellers wreaked havoc on the surface, killing thousands of all races. There, the realm saw itself as one. Fighting side by side, under rules of kings of their races. Nevertheless, their unity was found forlorn. Until a man from a small family beside the mountain of the human realm bound himself to a creature similar to the monsters, only they had wings, hard scales, and they breathed fire -- completely stranger to any tales or myths heard all throughout the land. But they saved it from perish and were called the children of Enthysia, the dragons.

He was known as Thorian Lychanger, the first who reached the sky with dragons. He led the races to victory with the dragon fire that drove the monsters back into undergroound and was the key to sealing the breach, never letting another underdweller step into the surface ever again. But after the chaos disappeared, so did the dragons. After generations had passed, only one Lychanger descendant was left. In search of a dragon, Velarya was left with the responsibility of protecting the entire land once again along with her betrothed, the Arthwen prince, Eusares.
