Chapter 1

It was time to wake-up, Nightseer knew it was time to wake-up when Amber started yelling at Kraken because he was watching her sleep again, last night he got visited by Snowflake his Icewing friend who had to use a dreamvisitor because she'' isn't able to fly here, she has one of the most important jobs in all of Pyrrhia'' When Nightseer woke-up he normally heard someone talking through each others heads he always assumed they were both nightwings born on the mainland.
¨I can help you if you get me out Moon, It's so dark in here and I can't move , if you let me out we can rule Pyrrhia together.¨ ¨I need you to give me time to think, I mean you are known as a horrible monster in all the stories about you, I still don't know if i can trust you yet because you know, your THE Darkstalker'' ¨You wouldnt think I would do anything bad do you? I'm just an old nightwing that's stuck in a tiny dark room¨ ¨I'm sorry but i need time to think goodbye¨ ''Wait Moon!'' Nightseer was worried ¨ Three Moons, Darkstalker? Still alive? If this is true the fate of Pyrrhia could be in my talons¨ As Nightseer was getting out of his hammock Amber yelled¨Nightseer! I need you right now!¨
As the nightwing skulked out of the room to see what was going on Amber yelled again¨Nightseer tell Kraken to stop watching me sleep it's creepy!¨Before the big Nightwing could step out of the doorway, Amber smacked Kraken across the snout with her tail. Kraken Yelled ¨OOWW THAT REALLY HURT.'' A split second later Amber yelled ¨Yeah I hope it did!¨. Amber started speaking again but Kraken spoke over her ¨Nightseer can you please tell Amber to stop being me-'' Nightseer cut him off with a yell ''THREE MOONS SHUT UP THE BOTH OF YOU BEFORE I KNOCK YOU BOTH OUT!¨After a few seconds of silence Nightseer spoke again ¨I have something important to say.¨ ''What this time you crazy Nightwing?''Amber grumbled but before Nightseer could speak and then Amber yelled ''I DON'T CARE!'' stomping into her sleeping cave, slamming the door as she entered. When she slammed her door, Nightseer rubbed his temples with his talons, and mumbled ''Three Moons everyone here is so annoying.'' Kraken sulked into his sleeping cave quietly, While Nightseer walked over to the Scavenger tank in the corner and picked up his pet scavenger Dirt resting him on his shoulder, he walked over to the corner and sat down, As he started talking to Dirt about how annoying this place was he heard the most blood curdling screech ever, he had a urge to go outside the cave and check out what was happening but he didn't, he ran over to Kraken And Ambers sleeping caves and yelled ''HEY I JUST HEARD SOMETHING AND NOW I HAVE A BAD FEELING, WE SHOULD LEAVE'' As they ran out of the cave it collapsed behind them trapping Ambers tail. Amber roared in pain ''OOUUCH GET ME OUT FROM UNDER THIS ROCK RIGHT NOW!''Nightseer ran over and lifted the boulder off of her tail making her feel better instantly, but not by much. Nightseer put Dirt on the ground and gave him his flat, stubby stick for walking and Dirt ran into the woods to get something a few minutes later the sound of rustling in the bushes was heard Amber, Kraken, And Nightseer looked at the raspberry bush and saw Dirt come out with a homemade splint. He ran over to Amber, looked into her eyes, and squeaked his cute little scavenger noises, Amber nodded and then spoke ''Yes.'' Dirt ran over to her tail and fastened the splint to her crushed tail and strapped the leather belt around her tail. She smiled at him and shooed him away, He ran over to Nightseer, put his hands in the air, and squeaked again. The large Nightwing picked him up and put him on his shoulder. They trotted over to the scavenger den with the wooden fences and the livestock and gave the farmers a sack of gold and took 3 cows, as they walked out of the town a scavenger in shiny silver armor squeaked and ran to Dirt, the new scavenger looked Dirt over while squeaking angrily. After looking him over for what felt like a million years the new scavenger hugged Dirt incredibly tight and Nightseer bent down to look at both of them. The new scavenger tried to tug Dirt away but it was too late, Nightseer lifted the new scavenger and dropped him in the Den, Dirt waved goodbye to all the scavengers in the Scavenger Den, And they all waved back. The large Black Nightwing picked up Dirt and put him on his shoulder. The three dragons lifted into the air and started flying to The Scorpion Den.
On the way to the Scorpion Den they had to stop flying because night was falling when they landed and set up a campfire. Dirt climbed down Nightseers shoulder and ran into the woods. While Dirt was gone getting whatever it was he was getting a Icewing stepped out of the trees and spoke with a booming voice ''WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE NIGHTWING?'' before Nightseer could speak the Icewing charged at hi, Nightseer instinctively started slicing the air with his talons and managed to hit the not so armored scales of the Icewings snout the Icewing Reared back in pain yelling ''HOW DARE YOU SCAR MY BEAUTIFUL SNOUT!'' Blue blood was trickling down the Icewings snout and the Icewing prepared to use her Frostbreath, but before she could use it Nightseer uncurled his tail, bit down on the Icewings neck and stabbed his scorpion-like tail into the Icewings stomach. The Icewing launched up and slashed Nightseers chest multiple times before smashing his skull into Nightseers chest. Nightseer jumped back, ripping his tail out of the Icewing. The Icewing slumped down to the ground dead. Nightseer, Amber, And Kraken curled into a circle around Dirts little leaf tent which Dirt made out of The large leaves, and sticks that were around. And then they all fell asleep.
They awoke the next morning to the bright sun shining in the clearing that they were in. Nightseer nudged Dirt with his talons and Dirt woke up instantly, Nightseer picked up Dirt and put him on his shoulder and they started to fly again.
It took a little while to get to the Scorpion Den but when they did they were all relieved. But before they could do anything else Dirt jumped off of Nightseers back and ran to something black in the sand Amber yelled ''I HATE the desert It's so hot here and the sand feels weird'' Nightseer followed Dirt and when he got over there and reached for the glass object but before he touched it he felt an incredibly ominous feeling, but he reached for it anyway and when he pulled it out of the sand... he knew what it was... The Obsidian Mirror. He picked it up and walked over to Amber And Kraken when he showed them what he held they both said they had a horrible feeling about the object, Nightseer shoved it in his pouch and they walked to the door of the Scorpion Den, falling down the sand dunes and getting sand in between their talons, Kraken complained ''The sand is in my talons! When can we get somewhere with no sand?! I hate the sand, It's course, and rough, and it gets everywhere!'' As they stepped over to the Scorpion Den they looked up and down at the walls and the door wearily, It was a large stone door on a lever system, and the walls were made of old sandstone that looks like it was burnt by fire, and frozen by frost breath, when they looked down the guard was there and he spoke in a sly raspy voice ''Pay theee entrenccee feee.'' The guard spoke again ''one bag of gooolllldd.'' Nightseer handed the guard the gold. The guard looked the bag over for a few seconds and spoke ''Yoouu anndd your frienddssssssss cann gooo throughh.'' As they walked in the other guard poked Nightseers shoulder and spoke in a deep commanding voice that sounded like he was trying to hard ''No outside food or drink'' he tried his best to hold in his laughing but couldn't hold it he looked at Nightseer and his friends and said still laughing ''you guys can go in i'm just joking.'' Amber snapped at him ''THAT WASN'T FUNNY.'' As they walked through the doors they saw different dragons walking around, dragonets running in between stalls playing tag, the clinking of coins, and don't forget the yells. Every once and a while you would see the shine from the light-blues and whites from an Icewing, the reds, and oranges, of Skywings, or even the browns of a Mudwing. When Kraken started walking a bunch of dragonets ran under his legs and tripped him. Most of the dragonets ran away but a little Sandwing dragonet ran back over and helped Kraken get back up. While helping him get up the dragonet spoke''Sorry I tripped you.'' Kraken responded to the dragonet in a kind tone ''it's ok it was just an accident, juust don't go tripping dragons next time it could end badly.'' The little dragonet ran away and yelled something but Kraken couldn't hear him. Amber Kraken And Nightseer walked down the large staircase to the bottom. When they got down there was a tent that had a sign on top that read DOCTOR. Nightseer stepped inside and said he needed to get looked at. His chest still ached from the fight he had had with the Icewing earlier.
After what felt like a million years but was actually an hour he woke up, but the doctor was sitting next to his bed frowning ''What happened?'' Nightseer asked ''You have 2 fractured ribs.'' The doctor responded ''WHA-'' Nightseer stopped speaking abruptly and coughed up blood ''THREE MOONS, ARE YOU OK? Please sit down your hurt''
The doctor said ''Yeah I wonder why'' Nightseer said, coughing up more blood with a gut wrenching gag that sounded more like his heart was coming out. Amber, And Kraken barged into the room yelling ''WHAT HAPPENED? ARE YOU OK?'' Amber pinned the doctor to the wall ''WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!'' Amber yelled but before she could hit the doctor Nightseer yelled '' STOP! HE DIDN'T DO-'' he coughed again more blood came out and the doctor yelled ''I NEED SOMEONE TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS!'' Just then a light-blue seawing ran in with a rag and bucket of water and started cleaning. Kraken was sitting on the floor next to Nightseer comforting him, he leaned into Nightseers ear and whispered ''it's ok, you'll get through this. Alright? '' Nightseer leaned up against Kraken and spoke in a raspier voice than before ''I know I will, leave me to rest for a little while ok?'' Kraken responded to Nightseer with a simple nod, and Nightseer fell asleep.
After about 2 months of healing Nightseer finally wasn't coughing blood every 5 minutes and he could walk again. He awoke with Amber, and Kraken sitting next to him, when they saw him open his eyes Kraken smiled and his eyes shone like a crystal channeling the light of the three moons, he leaped onto Nightseers bed and hugged him so tight it was like he was getting crushed by 20 Mudwings. While Kraken was hugging Nightseer, Amber yelled ''HE'S AWAKE! HURRY UP!'' after a few moments The doctor walked in, looked at Nightseer and spoke ''Looking at your Nightwing now he's completely fine, and you can leave now.'' As Kraken, Amber, Nightseer and Dirt stepped outside, Nightseers eyes rolled to the back of his head, and he collapsed. ''What-what happened? Kraken? Amber? Hello?'' All Nightseer could see was pitch black nothingness. As he looked around he noticed something far away; it was a white light. Was it a white light? Nightseer couldn't tell. What is that? I can't tell. It gives me an eerie feeling, it's as if I'm being watched. Nightseer stalked over to the light and, he stopped. The feeling of being watched was stronger. He put his paw on the light, it was a glowing rectangle, he put his head in front of the rectangle, the bright light burned his eyes, so he blinked but when he opened his eyes; he was in the arms of his friends.
