Strike Twice

Chapter 5

Bakugou was laying in his bed staring at the roof above him, he had just been woken up from the constant dream he's been getting, it was an old memory, of a small boy he met when he was about 5 years old. While he was lost in thought, he didn't realise two people conversing in his back yard which his bedroom looked out upon until a gunshot shocked him out of his thoughts, he quickly threw his bed sheets off him and dashed to his window to look out, that's when he saw them, two males, one was wearing a bird mask and the other was the yakuza member from earlier today, quickly Bakugo turned around and grabbed his phone from the bedside table and dialled a number.

Ring...Ring...Ring...

Finally, someone answered the phone.

"Hello, this is the ******** police department, you're speaking to officer Todoroki," The person on the other end of the phone said in a monotone voice.

"Seriously half and half, you're on reception duty" Bakugou muttered angrily.

"Bakugou, if this is not an emergency, please don't call this number," Todoroki said in the same monotone voice.

"Ugh! This is an emergency you half and half bastard, I have two Yakuza members in my backyard fighting," Bakugou said quickly.

"Ok, we are sending all our available squads there now," Todoroki says in a haste before ending the call.

Bakugou goes back to his window to see the two Yakuza's still conversing in conversation in his backyard, not too long after a whole heap of lights and sirens, could be seen and heard as they pull up outside, he watches as they try to contain the two yakuza's, but they escaped through the forest, that for some reason didn't have scouts in it. Once they left, there was a knock on Bakugou's front door and with a sigh, he chucks a shirt on and walks down the stairs to see his parents talking with the head chief of their area, Enji Todoroki. Bakugou then makes his way over to his parents and head chief, and he greets them with a nod.

"Young Katsuki, I apologise about the commotion," Chief Enji says to the young officer.

"All good sir, what's going to happen now?" Katsuki asked looking from his parents to his chief.

"Well, Katsuki..." Masaru started first sadly

"We are going to have to separate you three throughout the city" Chief Enji cuts Masaru off "we believe two yakuza groups are after your family, and the commotion was caused by the two noticing each other."

"WHAT NO! I'M NOT LEAVING MY OLD HAGS!" Katsuki shouted in frustration.

Mitsuki turned to her son with tears in her eyes, before reaching out to cup her son's face with her hands.

"Katsuki, Hun, we need to do this for our safety, and when these people are caught, we can go back to our normal lives," Mitsuki said trying to calm her explosive son.

Katsuki scoffs at his mother and turns around stomping his way up the stairs, the three adults hoped he was packing his essentials.

"So chief, where will we be going?" Masaru asked while bringing his wife in for a hug

"Well Masaru, we will be keeping you close to your business, we will have a professional officer going back and forth between your safe house and your business to keep it running, Mitsuki, you will be moved to a safe house in the forest on the outskirts of the city, another professional will be taking your designs to the business and bring back feedback." The chief replies thoroughly.

"And what of Katsuki?" Mitsuki asks head buried in her husband's chest.

"He will be with my son; they will have fake identities and have a full makeover, and we have given them part-time jobs, this is so Bakugou doesn't get overwhelmed being locked up, they will look like some basic college students," Enji answers Mitsuki's question soothingly.
