"Hello. My name is Miriah. You can call me Mira. I am pleased to meet you." I said into the mirror. No, too formal. "Hey! I'm Miriah. What's your name?" No, too... Weird. I decided to just not talk to anyone.
You see, it was my first day of highschool, and I wanted it to start out decent. My sister let me borrow some clothes. We're twins. Except that we're polar opposites. She's the bubbly, excited one. Me, not so much. Her name is Melissa.
"Miriah!! You look absolutely gorgeous! I love that outfit on you!" Melissa said, bursting into my room. Speak of the devil. Well, the Devil's daughter. Yep, #1 dad! Not.
"Yeah.. Cool." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Can I at least do your hair? And makeup? Please?" She asked. "Ugh, fine." I replied. She pushed me over to the vanity and I sat down. She brushed my brown hair and curled it. She then grabbed some makeup and set to work on my face.
"Are you done yet?" I asked. She nodded. "Yeah, I think so!"
"Then get out."
