-Victoria's POV-

This weird dude keeps staring at me.. he said that he's known mama for a long time but it doesn't seem like it. If mama did know this guy, I would've met him already.

"So.." He starts.

"Victoria, was it?"

Are you FREAKING kidding me?!

He doesn't even know my name? This guy is horrible!

"Yes mister it is." I replied slouching down in the couch. I heard him let out a sigh whispering under his breath,

"Why did I do this..?"

I widen my eyes in shock as I gasp and turn towards him. But instead of yelling at him,

I start giggling.

He looks at me in shock at my sudden mood swing, then smiles.

I scoot over to him. While he was confused I pointed to the remote. It seems like he got what I was saying because his face lit up as he grabbed it.

He handed it to me, and before I turned the TV on I said, "thank you, mister!"

"Your welcome, Victoria."

2:46pm

We've been watching "Yo Gabba Gabba" for a while now. I start to get tired as I felt a little tap on my shoulder.

"Hey mister?"
"Yes, Victoria?"
"I'm hungry.."
"Oh, alright. What would you like?"
"Umm.. can I have Mac and Cheese please?"
"Of course!"

She smiles and gets up, I follow after her. She brings me over to the counter and sits on one of the chairs.

"So, I'm going to assume the box is in the cupboard?" "Yup!"

I walked over to the cupboard and open it. I search up and down until I get to the level where the Mac and Cheese is.

I take it out and get to work.

"Yummy!!" Victoria smiles as she ate.
"Glad you like it, hey, I got to go to the bathroom, you'll be okay out here, right?"
"Yeah!"

I stand up straight and head to the bathroom. I felt Victorias eyes on me as I close the door.

-Victoria's POV-

This is really good! Maybe even better than mommy's.. who am I kidding? Her's is the best!

I heard the toilet flush and water running so I assume mister's done. I look over as I hear the door opening again.

"Hey Victoria, you done?"
"Yup! It was really good!"

He just smiles and takes my bowl. I watch quietly as he rinses it and puts it on the counter.

"What do you wanna do now?" He asks.
"Uhhh what's the time again?"
He looks at the clock on the microwave.
"3:23."
"Oh okay.. I wanna make a fort!"
"Alright!"

3:58pm

It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen!
"Woahhh" say amazed. Mister chuckles as he climbs into it, grabbing my hand gently. "How about we draw? Or read a book?" He suggested.

"I wanna draw!" I yell throwing my hands in the air. He smiles as he gets out the fort.

"I'll go grab them, I'll be back."
"Okay!"

4:37pm

"What did you draw, Mister?"

He chuckles slightly as he hands me a slip of paper. I open it, thinking that it was just a drawing of a police car or something because he mentioned his partner, John, and the fact he works for the police.

But no,

It was a drawing of me.

I gasped loud and started smiling wide and hugged him.

He looked at me and calmly smiled. But then,

His cellphone rang.

"Oh sorry, Kiddo, someone's calling." He gets up and walks out the fort. I follow suit.

He picks up the phone and answers it.

"Who is this?"

"John?"

"What are you calling me for? You know I'm trying to babysit."

"Oh.. is that so?"

"Alright. I'll be on my way."

Ja— Mister sighs and rubs his eyes. He looks at me,

"We need to go to the station, it's important."

I nod as he picks me up. "Your mom said that there's a car seat in the garage, right?"

I nod again. He turns off all the lights and grabs the keys. He sets me down so I can get my shoes on as he goes in the garage to get the car seat.

Once I'm done, he comes out with the stuff and puts it down to put his own shoes on. He wait quietly as he picks both me and the car seat up.

I hang onto him as he locks the door. He first puts the car seat in, then me.

He buckled me in and gets onto his side to get in.

"I'm sorry you had to come with me, kiddo. I didn't want to but it's important."

"It's okay! I like seeing other peoples jobs anyway."

He smiles in the mirror.
