Chapter 5 - Back in the Lab

I wake up with a huge headache. I felt the back of my head being wet. I run my hand on the back of my head, and touch what I thought was blood.

I take a sniff and confirmed that it was indeed my own blood.

I wonder how this had happened. I then think of what had happened before I blacked out. I must have been hit with something on the back of my head to knock me out.

I attempt to sit up and groan from the pain. When i finally sit upright, I look around the room. Everything I see is blurry. 'Why can I not see clearly?' I thought. I take a few minutes to get the blood of of my face. I could see clearly in my left eye but not in my right eye.

'I will figure it out later.' Out of my left eye I can see Every thing, even though the room had no lights. This ment that I was in my dragonborn form and not in my made up human form. Since in that form I can not see clearly in the dark like I can in my normal form.

When ever I am unconscious, like getting knocked out, my brain will some how turn me into my dragonborn form. This is to protect my self. Since most of the time I can make my skin inpenitable so nothing can damage or kill me. But this can only last for a small amount of time.

But this time that did not happen.

'So when Cal was about to say something, he was warning me about the lab people. I was hit in the head, which cause me to blackout. And then they captured me. I hope everyone else is ok and was not captured.' As I thought of this, I realized that they might of known were my human friends were and captured them to. 

They might of gotten my family and hybrid friends too.

I looked at my surroundings to see if I could find a way to escape.

Now I was put into a room with an iron door and walls. There was no window. I saw an air vent but i doubt I could get it open and climb in it. A few seconds later I feel a wave of pain in my head. I then remembered that I can normally heal my self with ease or it would just heal its self.

I thought 'Why has it not healed yet? This might be a bigger problem than I thought it would be.'

I attempted to heal it but nothing had happened. As the minutes went by, it healed up and close a tiny bit. But it was better than nothing.

It had taken about 11 minutes to fully close and heal the wound.

I then sensed that some one was getting closer to the room I was in.

The person walked in and I realized who it was. It was someone I have deep hatred for. The lab scientist, Dr. Barlowe. He was the person who kidnapped me and put me in here in the first place.

He was the one who did painful experiments on me and other people, mainly the omegas.

I start to glare at him but he stares back and says " Do not try anything. I know you do not want your friends and family to get hurt more than they already did or go through the same things you went through. Do you?" Dr. Barlowe was a sadistic man and loved pain from others.

He then takes out of his pocket, a remote. Then he points in to he all in front of me. He clicks a button and a tv comes out from the ceiling. He clicks another button and the tv turns on.

I see many different rooms with my family and some others with my friends. One had my brothers in it. Another my parents. The third room had my cousins. The fourth had my hybrid plus my human friends. The very last one made me on the verge to cry. It had Cal in it.  He waa all beaten up and had blood surrounding him. "Do not worry he is still alive, but barely. Do what we ask and no harm will come to him. Any of them." I take a few seconds before answering. "Alright. But promise me you will let them all out of the rooms they are in and let them leave. And never to do this to them again.

"Great, and in will do that for you since you complied so well.'' I sigh in relief since I can somewhat protect them.

I tried to stand up but fall right back down.

''Do not try fitting up anytime soon. When you are all healed up and ready, I will put you into the battle maze. But of course you know what it is since i put you in it before."

I remember that place. You are put there to be killed. But some times you might survive it, like I did. It is a place where you are put into it and you have to find a way out to survive. You also have to fight monsters that try to kill you. It is a place that will break you physically and mentally.

"Get up." Dr. Barlowe said while grabbing my arm and pulling me to my feet. When I got up, he started to push me to the iron door. He pulls out a card and unlocks the door. He pushes me out of the room. I look up and see two guards pointing guns at me.

I look behind me to see Dr. Barlowe motioning me to move forward. I get to the door where the battle maze was.

Sorry I had not uploaded a chapter for a while. I had to study for or complete assignments or exams for semester 1 last week and this week.
