Tayshaun's POV: me Jason and Dreain just sat down at a lunch table. Man high school is such a drag I mean they try teach us stuff we ain't Gon never use in real life.

Anyway I was with my boys tucking into our food when it made me think about my momma. She really aint been herself lately..something is really bothering her and I wish I could help. Ok ok call me a mommas boy but I don't care, even when I was little I knew when my momma was upset or even that time me and my dad had that talk.

By my dad I mean Craig. I don't give a fuck what people say he Jay dad. But anyway I remember it was a few years ago and I remember being woken up by dad and he told me he had to take my momma to the hospital so I gotta watch Zakia. I didn't sleep a wink that night I stayed up til they got home.

After that and mom was asleep me and dad were in the living room and he told me a bit about mommas past and why she may need to go hospital and stuff and I even cried cause it really hurt knowing she was suffering through so much...he didn't even scratch the surface and I broke down.

I still have yet to know about that bastard in prison .... I don't even wanna imagine the horrible Shit he tried or did to my momma because no words would describe what I'd do after that!

I think momma might be stressing because he doesn't see my dad much since he's working either that or they had an arguement andmommas doing her best to battle with it. Urghh I wish she would talk to me!

Just then Dreian punched my shoulder and I raised my head looking at him wondering why the hell he did it. "Earth to Tayshaun what's up with you man, you zoned out" craps how long was I out?

Tayshaun: nothin man I'm all good!

Dreain: ok coo. You up for inside out burger after school?

I went silent for a while when I got a text ...it was from my dad. He said he was gonna be home around 4 when I looked over at Dreian "yeah dude I'm in!" I tested my dad back telling him I was looking forward to it then I tested momma telling her that I loved her it wasn't even a minute before she texted back that she loved me more. I'm really worried about her she hasn't even been eating.. trust me I notice this stuff but if me and Jay and dre go out after school and with Zakia being ill she is most likely to be asleep it can give them a chance to talk.

Just then I felt someone touch my shoulder I looked up to see Shai-Nai take a seat next to me. "U alright Tay? You seem kinda out of it?" Damn I zoned out again ...how long was she even standing there? I turned to face her but didn't ditrectly look her in the eye when Jason and Dreian were making weird faces at me man they so childish.

"Yeah sorry I'm kinda tired so I'm not fully with it" just then she smiled at me and said "well make sure to get some rest can't have you falling asleep in class" she giggled and touched my arm, mm her hand is so warm. Man she keeps staring at me she tryna make me blush? Why is this girl so Damn cute!
