Chapter 5; Let the games begin

When I ran up to my room I quickly closed the door and slid down it touching my lips. I don't really let anyone kiss me, like I built these walls around me years ago when I dated my last ex boyfriend. Edward Williams. You see yeah he cheated, and he also slightly abused me, so I thought all guys are like this, I hated boys. So since Edward, I wanted to stay single, I wanted to be free and live, and not be taken by a boy. But this 'James' guy, I don't know what's going to happen between us.

My phone happen to ring while I zoned out, so I picked it up. "Hello?" I answered the phone not bothering to see the I.D. "Hey Alice! I want details!" Mia said excitedly onto the phone. "About what?" I replied confused, but seriously, I was confused. "Well you live with James now, and he is hot, and you guys must've done something!" She explained

"Well.. I kissed him?" It turned into a question than a statement. "Ohh my gosh. Did the Alice Carter kiss a boy in how many years?" "Three?" I asked once again. "Do you like him, do want him to be your boyfriend?" She questioned me like I was a celebrity. "Well, I don't want to date him. You see he's just like a player, cheater!" I snapped back thinking how gross it would be to date James.

"You know talking about me is a bad thing, right?" I heard James say from the other side of the door. "I'll call you back Mia, bye!" I said and got up and open the door. "You know stalking your crush is a bad thing, right?" I said leaning on my door frame. "You know I've never dated a girl let alone kissed one till today?" He said with a serious face, the one I haven't seen yet. "Oh." Is all I could say. Well I nailed it didn't I. "Well I wasn't expecting that." He said turning around. "Wait!" I said trying to turn him around. "I know I shouldn't have judged you by your reputation, but what are you going to do to prove that you're not lying, cause I won't let you leave with out proving it." I said looking his beautiful hazel eyes. "Didn't I prove it by telling you that you're my first kiss!" He said with annoyance in his voice. Well he doesn't go around any girls, nor did he talked to one besides me, but I don't count, like all I am is a potato, really. But the way he looks right now, all you wanted to do was snuggle with him and tell him all your secretes and that was weird to me, cause if I told him my secrets he'll just run away. "Babe, you gotta stop fantasizing about me." He said with smirk on his lips as I snap out if my daydream. "But I was having fun killing you!" I said in a pouting voice. "Babe, I know you weren't killing me, you where wishing you could kiss me all over again!!" He replied walking into his room.

1..2..3..

"1-3 Alice" He stated our scores of 'dissing each other' and walked back in his room and closing the door again.

1..2..3..

"I'll catch up!" He said slowly and going backing his room for the second time.

At this point I'm scared, really scared. Like what is he going to do or say? Oh god help me!!

I noticed I was still standing by his door, so I slowly went towards the kitchen to get a snack, cause I'm hungry. I pulled out some bread and PB&J and started to make my sandwich when I started to feel eyes burning through the back of my head.

Should I look? I don't know... It won't hurt, right?

I thought it would be James, I was wrong. "Well how come you didn't tell you're living at this place for awhile?" Edward said. My ex that cheated on me. How did he get in here. "How.... How did you find me? How did you get in?" I said looking shocked. He just laughs

"Jezz, Alice you laugh like a guy, and are you talking to yourself?" I heard James say from the top of the stairs not coming down. "So you're living with James for awhile?" Edward said looking at the stairwell. "JAMES, COME DOWN HERE NOW!" I shouted, yelled, screamed at James. "Coming in a second, princess!" He called back. Oh my god I'm going to die if he doesn't come now. "I'll take that as a yes." He replied to his own question and looking at me now. "Isn't he the gentlemen, he doesn't even now when you're in trouble." He stated looking at me. When I looked behind Edward I saw James behind him. When James saw me staring at him, he put in index finger on his lips and started to walk mine and Edwards way. So I looked back Edward who is giving me a confused look. "Did you get a new jacket!" I said flicking his varsity jacket. "Well, to you cause I got a couple months after we broke up. But it's such a shame that you pushed me out of your life for three years." He replied still not knowing that James is right behind him. Then I see James hit Edwards head with a Apple. Which did look painful, but didn't knock Edward out. To my surprise James jumped on Edward and he threw a couple punches then got up and help Edward up. What? "Touch her, you die." James said pointing at me but looking at Edward. "But how did you get in here?" James asked Edward. "You should start locking the doors." Edward said with a smirk. "How did you know where Alice was?" James said. "I saw you guys walking in here." And with that Edward walked out of the house like he owns it. "2-3 alice!" James said fist pumping the air. "That's not even a diss!" I said back. "Yeah, but I had to help the lady in distress." He said pointing to me. God he was hot when fights. Yeah I know off topic, but still. "How do you know Edward?" James said seriously now.

"Well, we... Uhh. Dated for a year, then he cheated on me. Then we never talked for three years, till now... And how do you know Edward!" I replied looking down. "Well, we... Uhh. Were friends for half a year, then he became a jerk. Then we never talked for three years, until now." He said mocking me.

"Oh." Is all I could make out.
