Chapter 4 - her?

As I was walking down a street that I usually go by on a Saturday night to get some groceries, the air was cold and had that aroma of smoke in the air coming from the chimneys on top of the houses it was a strong smell. I saw a girl who was sat on the floor she looked like she was cold she was shivering, her hands looked as white as snow.
I said "are you alright" she replies with "I know who you are" I was confused in why she said that. I said in a confused but scared tone: "what do you mean"?.. then she said "you tried to kill me". I was stood there shocked. Because I killed her I was sure I killed her but how tho? Then she started to say: "why did you attempt to kill me? I did nothing to you at all I was just that girl in your geometry class. You didn't know how hard it was for me when I got bullied by your mates it hurt me so badly I just wanted to crawl into a corner and never come out."

I stand there with a look on my face not even feeling guilty for what I did. So I replied "I didn't mean to kill you" it looked like a tear was coming from her face. As angry tears rushed down her face she told me about after I killed her and walked off. She said "A-after you killed me and after your mates walked off to find you. I managed to get up and I managed to go to a nearest hospital.. it was hard work thanks to you they checked up on me and managed to heal my wounds". *shows the scars where she got stabbed on her stomach* "and you did this, you ruined my body YOU RUINED THE ONLY THING THAT I WAS HAPPY ABOUT". I stood there trying to process what she said. I saw myself shaking in terror. Whilst being confused.

I managed to calm her down, I took her to my flat I managed to save up, I did her some ready made noodles I had in my cupboard and some clothes in my closet so shes warm. I gave her my bed to sleep in so she's comfortable.
