Olivia Benson. A kind, sweet cheerleader, who is best friends with the unholy foursome. Olivia has been friends with Santana for as long as she can remember, but when she met Quinn Fabray, everything changed. The same could be said for Quinn, when she became a cheerleader and met Santana, Brittany and Olivia, everything changed for her. Olivia was her best friend, the person she could rely on, they were that close they became friends with benefits, even though Quinn was dating Finn Hudson, another one of Olivia's close friends.
Even though Olivia was sweet and kind, they was a lot of deep issues that came with her life. Her dad died when she was 14 and since then she has never really been the same, so her mother put her into therapy.
"How are you today, Olivia?"
Olivia adverted her eyes from the friendship bracelets she shares with Santana, the both of them having matching ones, and looked at Emma Pillsbury, the guidance counsellor at McKinley High. Olivia knew the woman wasn't the best in her field of work, since she doesn't know how to connect with the kids on their issues.
"A bit scared, Sue wants to start cheerios practice and since, I'm one of the best, I need to be in school early to discuss what routines we are going to do."
The older woman hummed and looked around, not sure what to say, she was never good at sports so she had no clue how to speak about it. "Do you feel scared about anything else?"
"Not really." Olivia shrugs.
"Then let's talk about your feelings." Emma places a pamphlet in front of her, the pamphlet called 'You have feelings you want to express?' The name was quite bad but Olivia wasn't going to say anything, she didn't want to hurt the woman's feelings. "You have quite a lot of sadness in you, Olivia. You need to let it out."
"By doing what? Crying? Because I don't like crying."
"That would be the method I would tell you to use but no." Emma looked at her and handed her another pamphlet, this time one made by the Spanish teacher, Will Schuester, talking about the return of glee club. "You've talked to me about your love for music and dance and how when you play piano it calms you down. Why don't you try it out?"
"That is social suicide." The girl threw the pamphlet on the table and sighed. "I've worked to hard on my popularity and I'm not going to destroy it because of some club."
Emma sighed. "Just...think about it, okay?"
The next day, Olivia couldn't stop thinking about what Emma Pillsbury had said on the previous day. The woman was right, Olivia had a passion for music. She joined the cheerios because she liked to dance and do gymnastics but also for the fact that Santana joined, she would do anything for her best friend and cheerios brought her to Quinn and Brittany.
As the girl was walking down the corridor, ignoring everyone, she glanced at the sign up board, to see a paper with names written on it. Furrowing her eyebrows, Olivia read the names, coming to the conclusion that it was the glee sign up paper.
"Please, tell me you aren't thinking about signing it."
Looking to her right, her eyes took in Quinn Fabray, her friend and hook up, looking at her with her arms crossed over her chest.
"I'm not crazy." Olivia snorted. "I wouldn't do that. I have a reputation and no one is taking it from me Q."
"Good." Quinn whispers, admiring the small girl in front of her. Quinn loves every part of Olivia and she has no problem telling her when they are alone. The two girls had been hooking up with each other for a while. "Can I come over tonight?"
"Sorry, you can't. I'm busy."
"With what?"
"I have plans with my mom and you know, being a good friend to Finn." Quinn just scoffs, Olivia shaking her head. "How are you so calm? You are cheating on him with his friend! I'm feeling so guilty. If he finds out, he will hate me. I don't want to lose that friendship."
