Time went by fast and it was the last day of October. George and Dream talked sometimes on their balcony's. Usually at day time by now. George usually came there to drink his morning coffee, and Dream noticed it every time. Patches still got up to the fence sometimes. George didn't know how to feel about Dream, but he gave him a good vibe. George spent most of his time baking and drawing. He also had a lot of video calls with Wilbur. They hardly met up, because Wilbur was always somewhere.

George was feeling a little bit more comfortable in his apartment by now. He bought a bed and even a sofa. The apartment didn't echo anymore. His mom called him sometimes. She wished him to come back to the UK. George was happy for now, and was never planning to go back again.

George went to the balcony with a cup of coffee in his hands. He was expecting Dream to be there and there he was. With a warm smile on his face. "Good morning" Dream said. "Hi" George said back. "what you got there" Dream asked pointing at George's mug. George looked at his mug. "Coffee" He said and gave Dream a little smile.

Dream gave him a disgusted look. George sighed. "I don't like coffee either, but only to keep me awake" George leaned on the fence looking at the big oak tree. "That is such a beautiful tree" Dream said. George nodded, making sure Dream saw it.

"This year will be over soon. What did you plan to do next year?" Dream asked forcing the conversation to continue. "I don't know yet." George responded. "Life continues i guess" George quickly added. "Not like planning to do anything interesting?" Dream asked to be curious. "Nope" George said. The atmosphere felt a little tense. I guess Dream wanted to break the loud silence.

"Oh by the way, do you know that person who bakes here almost every morning? The smell just gets to me every time" Dream asked. Of course George knew it was him. But decided to play instead. "I don't think i know, but yeah i think they bake pretty good" George said. Giving himself compliments was cool, but didn't know Dream was that stupid that he didn't know George was the one who baked. He always keeps his window open when he bakes.

George laughed to himself. Loud enough to make Dream notice. "What is that funny?" Dream asked. "Nothing" George said almost choking to his laugh. "Okay okay" Dream said also leaning to the fence. George was surprised that he didn't really care. The two were just standing there.

"You maybe wanna hangout sometime?" Dream asked. "Maybe" George said. He actually didn't know how to respond. Loud silence again. George felt awkward being with Dream and it was weird.

"Uhm i'm gonna go inside, i'm getting cold" George said. He didn't wanna be rude, but also didn't feel like being in this conversation anymore. "K" Was the only thing George heard from Dream. What a boring person.

"Ehm what about you? What are you gonna do today?" George asked, even tho he knew he didn't wanna talk with Dream anymore. "I don't know, nothing i guess." George noticed change in Dream's mood when he talked to him.

Maybe George was the only person that has been talking to him lately. George haven't seen Dream with anyone, if he even saw him outside. Maybe Dream didn't have friends. It sounded sad but it might be true.

"Well if you have nothing to do, you wanna hangout today?" George asked.  This wasn't like like him at all. He didn't hangout with people, and he would never ask someone to be with him. But just to be nice.

Dreams face brightened really quick. "Yeah sure" he said. "Where do you wanna go?" Dream asked. "Do you maybe wanna hangout here? My apartment?"  George asked. He didn't feel like going anywhere, since it was cold. "Nah you are too far away" Dream laughed, making George laugh as well.

"Yeah yeah. So are you gonna come or not?" George asked again. "Yeah but let me change my clothes first" He said as he took a look at his outfit "Sure, just ring the doorbell and i come open the door" George said. Dream was already gone inside before George finished his sentece. He sighed and went back inside as well.

George placed the grey snooze blanket neatly on the couch. And set the pillows aside. He liked when things were organized. But he never did it, if there wasn't any guests coming. George went to the kitchen, to check if everything were fine. He didn't want to give Dream bad vibe about him. George soon heard the doorbell behind him. Not gonna lie, he felt little nervous. New people and everything.

George went open the door. He saw dream right infront of him. But it didn't feel as scary as he thought. It was just friend coming over. "Hi, please take your shoes off" George quickly said. Dream probably felt he was nervous but couldn't do anything about it. George watched Dream take off his shoes.

Dream was way more taller than he expected. But he still looked like a little puppy. Not scary at all. Dream straightenet his back and looked around Georges house. "Nice house. And you just moved here right?" Dream amazed. George nodded. Dream suddenly walked straight to the kitchen. George took that as a surprise, but decided to follow him.

"Holy shit man, did you plant all of these?" Dream asked pointing at the basil growing in a jar. "Well uh yeah"  George said and rubbed the back of his head. "You have planted tomatoes too!?" Dream yelled. George laughed a little. "Yeah" George said. Dream touched one of the leaves, making George feel anxiety. He grapped Dreams hand and took it away from the leaves. Dream looked at George confused. "Sorry i don't want you to touch my plants" George said in the most nicest way as possible. "Oh yeah sorry" Dream apologized. "Dont feel bad of course, i dont want you to feel bad" George quickly said. Dream laughed. "Dont worry its fine, really" Dream smiled. Before George could even say anything Dream was exploring the books in the bookshelf.

"What a great day" George said quietly.
