So, in the end, I did end up in homework club. Everyone kept to themselves. Clare helped me. To be honest, it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. The only unfortunate thing was, It took about two hours for me to complete Maths, English, Science and another random subject's assigments.
And today, thanks to Mrs Krakowski, I had two essays to write.
As I sat at the desk, biting the tip of my pencil, I looked over at Danielle. She was a plump girl with rosy cheeks and a blonde bob. She was quite shy but kind of adorable. I focused my attention on a picture on the wall till I heard a voice.
"Spring Skye?" I snapped up and saw the homework club leader, a snobby ex-student of the school called Alexis Finchley. She was smiling sweetly(of course not. She can't be sweet, not Alexis.) and she flipped a piece of black hair over her shoulder.
"Do your homework, sweetie," Her voice was loud and snooty and a few people looked over at me.
"Yes, Alexis." I muttered before turning back to my page. I was supposed to be writing about Romans...?
They started the olympics.
"No, that isn't right..." I rubbed that out and sighed.
"Spring Skye! I will throw you out of here if I hear another word!" Alexis yelled across the room. I don't know what she had against me. Maybe it's because her younger siblings, Isobel and Steven, were in my grade and as snobby as her. I was much to second-class to mix with her kind.
I wrote another sentence before sighing. I couldn't concentrate.
"Alexis, can I go to the restroom?" I asked. Alexis flew around and frowned.
"I suppose."
I walked out the door and down the corridor to the door with a pink lady on it. It was open by one of the little door openers. I slipped through the doorway and looked in the mirror.
I had slight bags under my eyes, my make-up almost gone. I was wearing black leggings, a black skirt and a pastel pink collar shirt with black pumps.
My hair was in a high pony with a braid in it.
It's right to be basic sometimes, right?
I slowly made my way back to the classroom, passing a few empty ones. People were packing, so I put my sheet in my folder and packed it away.
Alexis let us out, and I breathed a sigh of relief. Ugh, finally over. Except for Alexis it was alright.
When I went outside I saw Autumn in her silver Peugeot with Summer beside her. I got into the back seat and greeted tchem.
"How was Homework Club?" Summer asked, grinning as she leaned back. Her blonde hair was in a bun and her glasses were falling down her nose. I gave any unladylike snort and put in my seatbelt.
"To be honest with you, Sum, it was shit." I declared. She smirked and turned back to her seat, probably to read PrideandPrejudiceor something. Summer was a really cliché nerd. Reading old classics, quoting whole paragraphs.
Nerd.
Autumn started up the car and began driving. The radio switched on manually and filled the car with Sam Smith. Autumn sang along, slightly off tune but I didn't really care. I held my bag on my lap and looked out of the window.
Rain was starting to drizzle down, covering the window with drops.
"Ugh. I'm gonna be mate to Ash's with this rain pouring down." Autumn grumbled, turning on her headlights. Her and Ash were together since last year, and they were really cute.
I ignored her comment and took out a pen and page from my school bag.
I wrote my name in curly writing, and added a heart instead of the dot on 'i' .
I drew some patterns around it, striped and checker and flowers.
Drawing was the only thing I could do to make myself happy.
I didn't notice the car stopping, my tounge gently sliding out of my lip as I concentrated. My door was ripped open and I jumped. When I saw it was only Autumn, I unbuckled my seatbelt and ran towards the front door.
The rain mucked up my drawing, the ink running down and mixing with the water, staining my hands. Great. I opened the door with difficulty and sighed as I was out of the cold, light filling the hallway. Mom was holding three pairs of jumpers and trousers, for each of us. I took my maroon jumper and black pants and changed into them before cuddling under a blanket. My eyes were closed and it was all peaceful.
Until Summer crawled in under my blanket and began tickling me. I shrieked and jumped up, but it was too late. Summer pinned me to the couch and tickled me mercilessly.
"You-bi-bi-ahahahahah!" I cried, squirming as she pulled the blanket over me.
"Autumn! Mo-om!" I squealed as Summer reached my feet. I tried to kick, to no avail. I saw Autumn run in and grab Summer from behind, who yelped and screamed as Autumn tickled her. My body ached from Summer tickling me everywhere.
I ran to her and jumped. Revenge.
I was just about to kick Summer's face when Mom came in.
"Girls! There's school tomorrow!" She said angrily. We obediently went upstairs and changed into our pyjamas. I put on my blue onesie and pulled the hood over myself. I peeked into Autumn's room and opened it a bit wider.
"Hey, what you doing?" I asked, making her look up. Autumn smiled and waved me over. I plopped down next to her under the covers, the rain still beating down heavily. She was on her Facebook, stalking people.
I cuddled into her, smelling in her vanilla-ish scent. A lock of her blonde hair flew over my nose. I closed my eyes and felt myself drifting away....

When I woke up, it was drizzling. I was tucked into my bed, covers to my chin. I stretched and sat up, looking around. I wonder who brought me in here?
I got up out of bed, grabbed a red shirt with a golden sequin heart on it and light blue jeans. I changed in the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth.
When I came out I saw Autumn walking down the stairs. She looked really pretty, with pink lipstick, eyeshadow and her hair in a plait.
"Hi, sis," she greeted before sitting down at the kitchen table. Summer was there, reading a book. Her hair was in her classic bun and her glasses were on her nose. I shoveled up my cereal and went to grab my Nike. They were turquoise and I adored tchem. I slung my bag over my shoulder and waited at the door for Summer. She came up to me, phone in hand.
"Bye, mom, Autumn, Winter!!" I called before opening the door. Summer followed me out and we waited for the bus.
When it came it was starting to drizzle harder. We covered our heads and ran in.
Well, I suppose it's time for school.
