NO NO NO! I am losing ground in the Balkans and I am also facing an attack from the Bohemians which means I have to pull forces from holding off Russia with Russia already close to a breakthrough. I can't keep up with the war and my entire army is collapsing en masse so I decided to capitulate to them conditionally so I can try to prevent as many losses of land or influence as I can. Spanish Empire pov
With the Austrians now out of the war this will make pushing and defending harder. As the forces against the Austrian Empire now begin to focus on France and I so I decided to push the attack plan even faster so that I can make sure to finish off Dutch Argentina then begin to push Dutch Brazil. I knew it would be costly but setting up total domination of South America would make me worry a lot less about protecting my colonies from natives or foreign nations reducing my payment for the army a little bit at least or a lot at most. But with the Austrian Empire gone I also can consolidate my navy a bit more so I can cut the Dutch and Germans from exiting the mediterrianian via the strait of Gibraltar buying me extra time to defend myself. We just need to hold onto our occupied lands then maybe just maybe Spanish Peru can turn it around while the other 2 vice royalities keep Dutch Panama from pushing us back even more.
