(Curse warning)
Sanemi’s POV
Today had been iffy for the most part. I had not really been in the mood for the concert but many, many people paid to watch us play so I couldn’t just not go and perform. I had a massive headache an hour before the concert though. Mainly because I was dealing with super annoying bills. I take care of myself and my family. My father had died when me and my siblings were younger but honestly it was a good thing.
I know many people would be upset at me if I ever said that but he was a fucking abusive asshole who only cared for himself. Then my mom now had a job still but it just wasn’t enough to provide for all of us. I had many siblings and so it was more expensive in my family. I helped out with the money I had, which took care of it so my mom was going to go into early retirement soon. I was happy for her, she was starting to get a better life.
Especially because my father wasn’t around anymore.
I got ready for the concert after finishing up with the bills. I put on my black skull tank top and ripped black skinny jeans. I made sure I was ready before I left the house. I got into my car and drove to where the concert would be. I went backstage to go see the others. Everyone was here except for Tengen.
Which wasn't surprising, he usually took a while. Whether it be because of a 'fashion emergency' or because of anything to do with his wives. Soon enough he did arrive and we got everything set up and ready. Then the lights lit up and we walked on stage. The concert was fine but I had grown bored. So that's when I decided to spice things up. One glance at the others and I got the a-okay. We invited someone on stage. While looking through the crowd I had no idea who to choose. Someone strange… someone different.
It wasn't too hard to notice some man in a suit who was a bit sweaty.
Suits aren't really what you see at a rock concert. I knew he was our dude. We were able to get him on stage but he seemed quite shy. Cute. I smirked and waited for him to come up and over. Once he was on stage I pulled him closer and things got interesting. I learned a bit about why he was here and he seemed to be blushing. Or maybe it was from the heat. I couldn't fully tell but I wanted to... No. I needed to invite him and his friends backstage after the concert, VIP. I had to see him more.
Thankfully they did show up later and we got to lots of talking. Though he did not talk too much. He seemed quite the loner in some way. I liked that though. Someone much chiller than some crazy chick. I had to see him at our next concert. Problem was that our next one is going to be during our tour. Then next thing I knew they were leaving. I quickly scrambled and wrote my number down. Just as they were getting up I gave him a side hug.
Nothing too personal or anything, and I slipped the number into his pocket. Fucking genius of me. Soon after they left we got up and left to go eat dinner way too late. Who cares if it was one am? We were hungry and we were gonna get us some pizza. We loaded up in Kyojuro's car and drove to the pizza place that thankfully stayed open till three am. The owners were like angels. Really looking out for people like us who have to eat either really late or really early.
They knew. So everytime we came here we tipped them pretty well. We walked in and sat at our usual booth. No one else was here dining at this hour. Sometimes though a few folks would come in and eat. Us though, we were almost regulars. At least whenever we had concerts or we just wanted to hang out late and realize we hadn't eaten yet.
