so, let's move on to the dead ones.

dead universes are considered not alive anymore. They could have been alive at some point in time but not anymore. They have lost their community & their fandom. I am not including universes that are not completely dead yet. Let's save that for another category of the universes.

neopets

Neopets was a game made for kids back in the 1999's, & it gained 25 million users in the mid-2000's, but.....there some problems with it. To begin with one of those problems, the ones behind neopets were accused of scientology! & there was gambling! there was article online saying "if you didn't gamble your pets will be sent to a orphanage!" or something like that, but that wasn't even true! We have done research on this topic and we couldn't find any evidence of this even existing on the site! And the so-called "orphanage" was actually called "the pound" so it seems like the lady lied about it. And there was tons of games on the site that weren't about gambling! So she straight up lied! but overtime neopets went downhill & is now dead. (We're still searching up on neopets, so we didn't have a lot of information, and I'm sorry if I gave misinformation, that was not my intention)

marapets

Marapets is a knockoff version of neopets, it was released in August 15th back in the 2004's, & just like Neopets, Marapets got problems. There was a character named "the obese fairy" and her description said "the obese fairy loves her food, all she does is eat. in fact, she is so heavy that her fairy wings haven't worked for many, many years. Although she disputes it, her love of food made her obese. She blames it on a slow metabolism, the drinking water in candyland (which is actually chocolate) and having really big bones." now, the character itself is adorable, but why did they have to give her a description like that? Did they think it was funny? There was more offensive costumes, going from the red robes of the Chinese place to the stereotypical costumes of the Camiladesert! And although they did change the costumes, I'm pretty sure some people were still mad about all the stereotypical things. & the obese fairy was one of them. It shows The stereotype that overweight people only eat and eat and don't work. but that's not true! some overweight people work hard & don't just sit around Eating & watching TV all day! And the worst part about this....is that Marapets didn't even change her description! they Even made a comment about it saying "I have never heard of fat phobia (fear of being fat? LoL) but I'm certainly not changing a character who is probably the most relatable, realistic character on mara because a few people are offended." ok, first of all "fear of being fat? LoL"? How is that funny? And most relatable and realistic?! yeah right! Also they call themselves the most popular game? But this whole issue rised up when Marapets was dead! It's clear that they're delusional. Because no one even plays it anymore and they think they're the most popular game? bullshat! they did eventually stopped, I guess they realized they were being an idiot. (Again we don't really have that much information but I hope this is okay)

And I will not get into things like, I don't know, animal jam? Because that's a whole other can of worms.
