Chapter 7: Fight! Fight! Fight!

Luke's POV

Yeah, yeah. I know what your thinking. How did I of all people get resurrected by Zeta/Percy with all the poor decisions I made in the past?

Well, Percy thought everyone should have a second chance at life, no matter what decisions they made in the past. I am forever in debt to him for his kindness.

Anyway, we were just chilling out, eating our lunch peacefully until Chiron pounded his hoof.

"Campers and Warriors! The Romans of Camp Jupiter will be coming to Camp Half-Blood, to assist and partake in the upcoming war; in which the true enemy is yet to be discovered." Chiron said.

Then all of a sudden Zeta stood up. The bit of his face that was exposed, you could tell that he was frightened. When I took a closer look at him, I saw that he was as pale as that Nico fellow, which was not good. Anything that can scare Zeta is truly a force to reckon with.

"Lord Chaos has just contacted me. It appears as the new, ah enemy, has been discovered. And it is not good whatsoever." He said recovering from his initial shock.

"Well get on with it then!" Drake said in his ever so annoying voice.

"Yes. The new enemy goes by the name of 'Destruction' an entity as old as Chaos himself." He said as calmly as possible.

Then all Hades broke loose. Even I, was shocked. The history of Destruction... was not pretty. He used to go by the name of Order. Order and Chaos, together, created the universe.

However after a while, Order became less recognized, and everyone believed Chaos as the true creator. Being jealous of Chaos, Order reincarnated into a new being, with a new name. His name is Destruction to destroy anything in his path.

Destruction's rampage only stopped when Chaos himself, banished Destruction to the Void. We believed him to be locked up forever until now. It was obvious why Zeta was so spooked.

Well it looks as if we have a camp to calm down.

Time Skip 2 Hours Later

"Hey Luke!" My crush Zoë said.

To be completely honest with you, I'm heads over heels for her. Just her flowing, silky black hair makes butterflies form in my stomach.

" 'Sup Zoe?"

"Nothing much, how are you handling the fact that we're back at Camp Half-Blood?"

"Ugh. It's hard being back, people keep pestering me with questions. And the fact being near the people who hurt Perce so much." I said truthfully.

"Yeah I feel you Luke." She said as she sat down next to me.

My heart started beating faster, and I decided this as the best time to confess my feelings for her right now.

"Uhm hey Zoë?" I asked cautiously.

"Mhmm?"

"Um. I have to confess something."

This got her undivided attention. "Yes Luke?" She said as she stared into my eyes.

"I... I... I think I've fallen for you... hard." I said. blushing madly.

"..."

"I-I mean you don't--" I got cut off by her smashing her lips onto mine.

It was short but sweet. Zoë was blushing madly but smirked.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to do that."

Everything changed when we heard shouting from the outside.
