Walking with him, she saw him put some biscuits and ramen in his cart and he kept smiling sweetly at her direction. Gosh, this man is an actual ball of sunshine.
Bella asked, "Hey Lix, are you gonna cook ramen tonight?"
Felix blushed slightly, "I mean, I usually am not a great cook. I bake stuff but yeah, I'll try Rameyon tonight. Have you ever tasted it?"
Bella shook her head, "I watched mukbang asmr of people eating it though. Oh I'd love to know what it tastes like one day."
Felix's eyes lit up, "whoa, I love mukbang asmr so much! I even fantasized about recording a podcast or video of it someday haha"
Bella laughed sweetly at this idea, "with your voice being as deep as it is, it will be a great thing to listen to honestly, Lix."
Felix blushed again, his poor ears getting red above his earrings. He also wondered why she isn't recognising his voice yet.
Suddenly a plan came to his mind to make sure he can take his mask off infront of her.
"Can I ask you a question Bella? If your answer is no, I can 100% understand but I'm just gonna ask anyway, is that okay?" He said sincerely.
Bella got a little nervous.
What is the question he will ask. Oh no, is this gonna be another man like her ex? No no, don't think like that.
He is so sweet. What's the harm in hearing him out.
She said, "of course, what is it? You can tell me."
"If I cook Rameyon tonight, would you like to be my guest and try it? I'm living in a cottage at the moment, it's a half an hour drive. I can pick you up whenever you're comfortable. I'll even give you the adress in case you'd be comfortable..."
She chuckled and grabbed his hand softly for a second to calm him down.
"Hey hey Lix, don't worry so much. Thank you for inviting me and yes, I'd love to go with you. Would you be able to pick me up at the museum in two hours maybe? I'll be free then." Bella answered.
As a woman, we get gut feelings telling us who we can trust. Bella knew in her heart that this man is trustworthy. Even if he wasn't for argument's sake, the cottages in Amsterdam are in public areas, all protected by the tourism department and besides, there is no way she won't trust him right now. He is so sweet, his whole cheeks are beetroot red!
Felix looked at the hand she was holding and stopped himself from stuttering or blushing too hard.
"Oh okayy, hehe I'm glad. It's just I'd love to try your food and it'd be great if you tried ours too. That's all. You know. Umm, I'll pick you up then. See you Bella!! I have a lot to prepare so stay hungry!"
His smile was so contagious it melted Bella's heart completely.
She can't wait for this shift to end.
Felix cannot wait to meet her again. He knows exactly how to reveal who he is to her.
