Hyunjin smiled when he noticed the sleepy puppy boy curled up on the big armchair, wrapped in a blanket and a book in his hands.
The whole apartment was already dark, only the small light on the windowsill was on.
It was so obvious Seungmin would fall asleep in the next ten minutes and as much as it warmed the older's heart that his boyfriend had waited for him, it worried him too.
He knew that the brunette was tired and he should rest as much as possible in his state.
"But.."
"No pup, it's past 11pm. You've been up and cleaning the apartment all day, which I told you not to do, at least get some sleep when you're clearly tired."
The redhead held out his hands to help his boyfriend up and cooed when Seungmin just yawned cutely.
"Come on, baby. It's time to go to bed"
He smiled when the brunette just slumped against him, of course making sure not to hurt their little one.
They made their way to the bedroom, more like Hyunjin pulling his sleepy boyfriend with him, and the taller took his sweet time to help Seungmin change into his pajamas.
It was one of the last days like these for quite a while, once their baby was there, Hyunjin would take some time off to focus completely on his family.
Their little one hadn't been planned at all, not only a year after the debut of the older's band and just weeks before Seungmin's graduation.
The band had finally started to get some attention and Seungmin had looked forward to finally getting a real job after finishing with college.
But instead he graduated with a tiny baby bump under his robe.
And Hyunjin wouldn't be able to sing at concerts late at night anymore, not when there was a tiny baby waiting at home for him.
So in two days he'd have his last concert for quite a long time, his boyfriend was due in three weeks and Hyunjin just wanted to be there for him.
"Hi bub, are you sleeping already? I guess so, at least someone knows when it's nighty time"
The red-haired boy whispered against his boyfriend's bare belly, chuckling when the younger male got goosebumps from the cold metal of Hyunjin's lip ring touching his skin.
"Good night then, sleep well. And don't wake your mama later, he deserves some good rest too, okay? Daddy loves you."
A last long kiss was being pressed right above Seungmin's navel before the older male pulled his boyfriend's shirt back down and snuggled close to the brunette.
It didn't need any words, the redhead just knew how much the younger loved getting spooned.
He loved the feeling of his boyfriend's hand on his baby bump, he loved the feeling of Hyunjin's nose nuzzled against the brunette's shoulder.
It just made him feel so safe, so loved.
"Good night, pup. Rest well, hm? And tomorrow I'll make you some waffles for breakfast"
Hyunjin whispered and placed a soft kiss on his boyfriend's cheek.
"Nighty, Jinnie. I love you so much."
