I'll be your lighthouse
I'll make it okay
When I see your monsters
I'll stand there so brave
And chase them all away

“Baby.
You comfy there?”

Jisung smiled at his sleepy husband
as he carried a tray with two steaming
hot chocolates and some still
warm Christmas cookies over
to their coffee table.

Minho's favorites,
the butter cookies his grandmother
used to make for him as a child.

“Hm. As comfy as I can get with
this hyperactive kid of yours.”

The ravenette muttered with a pout
on his face, trying to look grumpy but
Jisung just found him adorable.

How could he not though,
Minho was bundled up in his red
fleece blanket, fuzzy christmas
sweater on and sparkly antlers
sitting on top of his head.

He had been so excited to bake
some cookies with his husband but
their little one had other plans.

“As far as I remember it's 50
percent your baby too. And I can't
blame the bean for being excited.”

“There's a difference between being
excited and hurting the one who
carries you, feeds you and keeps
you safe and warm 24/7.”

Minho pouted when Jisung carefully
placed the tray on the coffee table.

“You're the best mommy and we
have such a bad, bad child, hm?”

The ravenette nodded softly when
his husband pulled him in his
embrace and placed a soft kiss
on the older's forehead.

“Such a bad bean, don't annoy
your mommy too much, huh?”

Jisung playfully scolded their
unborn child as he poked
Minho's tummy gently.

He knew how uncomfortable
his husband was and he knew so
well how the ravenette was secretly
a little upset that he couldn't enjoy
the Christmas season as much
as he wanted.

He couldn't wear his absolutely
favorite coat anymore because he
couldn't close it thanks to their baby
bean, he got cold so unbelievably
fast that he barely dared to go
outside anymore to enjoy the snow,
standing to decorate their Christmas
tree had been too exhausting and
now he hadn't even been able
to bake Christmas cookies.

“But you're our biggest present
this year, hm?”

“Biggest?
Did you just call me fat,
Han Jisung?”

Minho gasped as he furrowed
his eyebrows, noting how Jisung
visibly tensed.

“N-no, baby. Of course not!
You're so beautiful, my sweet love.
A pretty mommy with our
adorable baby bean.”

Happy with the answer,
the ravenette hummed in content
and snuggled his face back against
his husband's buff chest.

He knew that his mood swings
had made Jisung kind of scared of
him sometimes and even if they
had gotten better now that he was
close to giving birth, it was secretly
too funny to see the brunette
so scared.

“Say ahh.”

Jisung smiled down at his husband
as he fed him a piece of cookie and
pressed a gentle kiss on the older's
head when Minho happily munched
on the treat.

He couldn't believe that they were
so close to meeting their baby.

This was one of their last evenings
like this, just the two of them
cuddling on the couch and
watching the snowfall outside.

A soft sigh escaped the ravenette
when Jisung placed his hand on
the older's tummy, running his
palm gently over the baby bump
to say hi to their little one.

“Bean's enjoying the cookie?”

“Very.”

“That's good.
You too?”

“Yes. You did well..
Although I'm pretty sure I'd
have made them better.”

Minho giggled cutely when his
husband slapped him lightly.

“Sure, my love.
Whatever makes you sleep at night.”
