As I wake I'm delighted by the sight
My vision correcting itself I do see light
I see indeed, image sharper than a knife
What before was all dark is now all life
Imagine the image, the pictures so sweet
The painting reality lays before your feet
What sights I view are from the Divine
What blessings it is to have eyes like mine
As I sit up from Slumber I do recall dreams
Of sun and moon and even starlight beams
No man can take what the holy does deliver
A glimpse of hope with every eyelid sliver
Even if I went blind - to never see again
What a glorious memory this vision has been
And to think of the most beautiful sight so true
Is that every morning I get to wake up and see you...
