BROOKE HASTY wore the scars of her past and gave up on hiding her true self back a long time ago. Twenty nine years old and traveling the rodeo circuit was no way to make an honest living but the woman didn't have many options. She was no criminal, although Brooke was sure some people would disagree with that statement- so would the judges of the State of Oklahoma. 

So, Brooke found herself stumbling from town to town and ranch to ranch, only passing through for a few weeks at a time to keep money in the bank. It seemed the checks at rodeos were getting smaller and smaller no matter how good she rode, something about a woman nearing her thirties just couldn't beat wild and rowdy young men.

With nothing but a horse trailer, truck, and a couple of bags, the woman fatefully entered the gates of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch.
