Violet sat down on the bed in loona's room. Thinking about everything that went down at ozzie's. She doesn't have any idea what to even think. She looked out the window, looking at the red skies. All the damaged buildings, sounds of gun fires, and some warfare in the distance.
A knock is heard on the door. "Its me." It was Loona at the door, and entered. Loona could see so much worry she has. Which also makes Loona worried. Not just for Violet, but about the events that happened. "Hey, you holding out ok?" Loona asked. Violet said nothing.
"What the hell even happened? Every hellhound at Tex's party went wild the moment they see Adam transform." Loona said. "I know, and everyone saw. Didn't they?" Violet assumes Loona pauses for a bit, and answered. "Pretty much. Everyone all over the rings saw it. It went viral. "The 666 news ratings really went up after watching every seconded of the stream. And I bet Charlie and-" Loona eyes went wide in horror. "Oh, shit." Loona cursed.
"And, what?" Violet asked. Loona did not want to finish that sentence, but she wanted to know. So she might as well tell her. Which after this, both of them knows that can make matters way worse. "The prince of hell." Loona finished. Violet realizes who she's referring to.
"Lucifer..." Violet said softly. "You know what else make things worse?" Loona hints. Violet already knows the obvious. And they both say it at the same time. "Overlords." Loona and Violet said at the same time. "We need to leave, We have to leave. I rather stay on earth rather then being interviewed by the higher ups." Violet said. "I don't think there's no escaping this. They can go to your world. With or without the book. They have their own ways." Loona said.
"Then talking with them on earth should make me more comfortable. Maybe I can prepare for the things I studied about them." Violet said. "I wouldn't try to fight back. NO matter how many punches you do to them, your still basically screwed. They can regenerate. Imps can be killed easily. For other types of demons? Like the royals? Oh yeah, your gonna be fighting all night. But royal demons can be a big piece of work." Loona states.
"Hmm, I guess they are a royal pain in the ass." Violet curses. Loona chuckles at her joke. "You can say that again." Loona said. "But Charlie? She's cool, she has her good reasons to open up the hotel." Violet said. "True, but to the community? She is a clown." Loona said. "Because of course they wouldn't believe everyone has a soul, or even a rainbow." Violet said.
"So got any smart ideas?" Loona waits for her answer. Violet took her time to think. Fifteen seconds in, and violet was about to give up, but then it hit her. She remembers about the blind priest Elizabeth. So Violet brainstormed an idea. "I think what if. I got to the church, and maybe ask Elizabeth for answers? Or at least maybe, hide in a church." Violet said.
Hearing that idea made Loona uneasy. "I don't think its a good idea Violet." Loona said. "I know, but it could serve as a last resort if everything went too hot." Violet said. "Well if you want to pull that crazy idea from your head, I ain't stopping ya. Oh yeah there's one thing I needed to tell ya before I forget." Loona said. "What?" Violet replied. "Blitz went to get Jimmy. We're gonna get it ready for all of you to get back to the surface." Loona said.
"Already on the move to get me and my step brothers back home huh?" Violet said. "Yep, and he wanted you to meet someone, she's waiting on ya." Loona said. "Me? I don't know who, but ok then." Violet exits her room. When she did, she started to smell some smoke. She finds someone who is the source of smoking the apartment.
"Hey, I was told Blitz wanted me to meet you." Violet said. "So your that human that he wanted me to meet?" She sits up. "Alright let's just greet, and after a few minutes ill be-" She turns around, a look of realization made her very shocked when she sees Violet. So shocked she dropped the cigarette, and puts it out.
When Violet took her moment to look at her attire, the hair, her hairband, glasses, and her earring. She started to piece together, and finally knows who that demon is?"Mrs- Mrs Mayberry?" Violet asked her. Not even sure if its really her? When she heard her said her name. She got surprised that human knows her name. But how? She started to recognize her a little, but not entirely. So she decided the only to confirm if its really Violet, is by asking her some questions. "How did you know my name?" Mrs. Mayberry asked her.
Violet starts to be sad that she doesn't remember her. But there was one only way to jog her memory. "Do you know the sweet little girl, that little girl from eight years ago? I'm her. Back when I was a sweet little sunshine. But I was falling behind, then you came. You were my tutor. You came to the foster home. To help me pass my grades. And sometimes, you would say hello when you drive by to the foster house. And we got ice scream before I reached middle school." Violet explains.
Mrs. Mayberry got emotional hearing this. She started to see some memories from her own head, she started to remember. The happy times she had way before the incident she caused. "You, you can't be. But to prove if your really her, tell me. What school do I got to? To teach the kids?" Mrs. Mayberry asked. Violet deep down, knew that answer.
"You think I forget that? Its puppies junior school. And one detail I know, is the one side of the school building. Had rainbows, clouds, blue sky, and kites. With the writing that says: Learning is fun. The only person that told me about that place, is you. Mrs. Mayberry." Violet said.
And that proof was all she needed to hear. That last part had really broke her. She tried to hold back her tears, but she could not hold them any longer. "It, really is you. Violet... Violet!" Mrs. Mayberry puts violet in an emotional embrace. And breaks down. Violet hugs her back.
Mrs. Mayberry let's go, and puts her hands on violet's shoulders. Looking at how different she looked ever since the last time she saw her. "Look at you, you grown. And I see you gotten different now." Mrs. Mayberry said. Violet chuckles in response. "So I did. And you? How was hell?" Violet asked. Mrs. Mayberry laughs at the question. "Well your here right? You tell me?" Mrs. Mayberry replied as she wiped the tear off of her right eyes.
"Then how about we talk about this and catch up?" Violet suggest. "Yes, let's catch up." Mrs. Mayberry agreed. Violet and Mayberry sit down on the couch, and begin to chat.
Loona heard everything from her door she's leaning on. She formed a smile. "Good job girl. You and the tutor are reunited at last." Loona said.
At pride ring
At the allyway, a figure stepped out of the shadows. Dropping a body he was carrying. Some of the blood stains is seen on his clothes. It was Julius. His appearance looked different this time.
"I done it. All the fighting and the exercise helped me figure out all the gimmicks and the abilities I posses. Those demons share all the same trait, but I am different. Now, your next Nick. I'm coming back for ya for round two. And this time...
There will be no fair fight."
