What's Behind Those Mountains?

"LET GO OF HIM!? What's wrong with you?" shouted Scarlet.

"So there she is, it's been a long time, send her to my carriage," the man commanded looking at Scarlet.

"Don't you ever obey and listen to him...," Mr. Johnson said to her daughter hoarsely.

"Silence! I'm just getting what's mine Mr....Johnson," the man shouted.

"Getting what's yours for evil???!!, replied the father looking up at the man. "what kind of f....," he suddenly stopped, trying to pick up his words carefully.

"Take her!" Commanded the man.

"Wait, what?!, you entered our house without permission in the first place, it's illegal, and secondly.....

But before Scarlet finish speaking, the man interrupted with a big shout.

"ILLEGAL???!! COME ON, WHY ARE YOU FLIPPING MATTERS UPSIDEDOWN، Why don't you ask Mr. Johnson....

"Don't listen to him my dear Scarlet," Mr. Johnson said quietly.

"But what is he talking about?" Scarlet asked with confusion on her face.

"Just go and save yourself Scarlet, the stone I gave you will explain everything so keep it, and don't ever dare to go back here, and remember, I love you and I'm sorry....I'll miss you...

Mr. Johnson hit his head on the gun that was lifted towards the direction of his head...

"SCARLET!!! GOOOO!!!!" He shouted.

There was a chaos in the house. As Scarlet run towards the backdoor, she hears runing footsteps following her. She ran faster and heared a loud bang

BOOM!

Her father might be dead, but she can't go back, she bursted into tears while running as fast as she could. Scarlet is now passing by a queue of houses. She can still hear the running footsteps.

"Aye! SCARLET!!!"called a familiar voice from behind her.

But Scarlet didn't dare to look who's there, until she stumble down in front of a very tall man. As Scarlet slowly look up, she noticed that it was the man she saw in the house. So, Scarlet leaned backwards slowly and looked really horrified until she hit someone from behind her. She saw a hand beside her,

"What's wrong Scarlet?, I've been calling you....

"James!" Scarlet gasped, She hold his hand, stood up and hugged him.
