"Patrick will you turn the sound down?" Christian called. The TV was booming. The loud noises pierced his ears while he tried desperately to study.
"Sorry Mate, Ill try not to bova yous too much." Patrick concluded. He turned the sound down. Then the TV turned off. Patrick slummed over to Christians room. Standing in the door frame, "Knock Knock."
Christian looked up, his eyes looming over Patrick. Irritated and bored. Patrick felt a sting in his chest. Knowing that Christian was upset killed him. "Nobody's keeping you out.", his words were like venom. His voice was so sharp.
"Alright. Let me have it then." His buck teeth jutt out slightly through his smile.
"Of course you're happy. You love making me miserable." Christian rolled his eyes in pure frustration. Patrick has been getting on his last nerve.
"Brova, how can we fix this if you're throwing the wrench in?" Patrick gave Christian his doe eyes, causing Christians tense emotions to melt away.
"You're always disturbing my work. I need you to give me one hundred percent. If you want this to work..." Christian started to rant, words coming faster than needed. He knew he could say something hurtful, but who cared? He needed to get through to Patrick one way or another.
"Chris... Darling...just relax. Why dont I boil us a potta? Refresh your spoons?" he suggested. Christian almost exploded.
"Whatever! You just don't listen to me anymore!" Christian huffed and thrusted up from his chair, storming down the hall and to the living room. He grabbed his foam butt pad and placed it down in the floor. He faced the wall.
"MATE!" Patrick cried out. Christian sighed loudly. Patrick stood still, watching Christians back. "Come back to me brova. We can fix this." He pleaded, begging destiny to pardon Christians hate.
"You're so conceited. Everything has to be about you!" Christian exclaimed. His words were so painful to Patrick.
Patrick stood behind Christian, placed his hands gently on Christians shoulders. Christian shrugged, but Patrick sat down behind him. One hand on Christians back, "I'm here. I'm listening." he whispered.
